I saw your car at MD when I towed my red 03 there for a gear swap... Very nice car. How long did the header install take?

Thanks for the props man... Actually, when i picked mine up they were installing your gears.. 4:10's right ? Well i dropped the car off on a thursday and i was intending to pick it up the following saturday (about 1 week).. i live about 1-1/2hrs away so it's just easier for me to do that and come back on a saturday morning to get it where it doesn't conflict with work.. but i ended up having to come back the following thursday (when i saw your car) because mine had made too much boost and they had to order a bigger upper and smaller idler pulley to get it to 19-20lbs... I wanted to get it back before they left town so i took a vacation day.. I didn't think to ask about how long it took them... i know it's an all day job pretty much if they did it straight through from what i've heard.. but they may have done it off and on... are you thinking about getting LT's ?? and by the way, how do you like those gears ??

Well i kinda had a memory lapse so to speak on my catback... i was thinking it was a 3" but then realized after the fact it was a 2.5"... but most likely i will go to a 3" down the road... i asked the shop who did the work and they said it
wouldn't be a whole lot different other than the 3" may idle a little louder..

Silver Snake, your car is absolutely amazing, my jaw was on the floor the entire video.

Unfortunately, I only have a 1997 GT (but it's respectful). I am in the market for an 03/04 Cobra.

What do you think about the Kook Headers and a catted-xpipe?

Also what muffler are you running?

Have a good day,
Travis

Thanks man !! Appreciate the props ! The Kooks headers are a great header.. i mean they are pricey but well worth the $ i think.. The X-Pipe is a good combo for the Kooks... I haven't heard a catted X with them but i'm
sure it would still sound good (just not near as loud)... Actually i have a MAC catback with the MAC Flowpath mufflers... i love the MAC sound so i wanted
to keep that catback... Well if you are in the market for an 03/04 that is
a wise choice... you can make terminators shit fast for what i think is a small price for the gains you get... good luck with that !!

Thanks man ! appreciate the props... well, the headers do hang pretty low... if you are lowered i'd say you might have a problem... i haven't scraped (yet) knock on wood but i avoid speed bumps and any low places i might encounter i try and be careful... if you do a search in the exhaust section, i think GODSTANG posted a pic of his in a KOOKS thread and you'll be able to see how low they hang.

No problem man... Well, the shop i get my work done at ordered mine.. but if you go to the exhaust section and look at some of the KOOKS threads, GODSTANG had posted a link to a place that he got his and i think it was pretty cheap.... you might also try that LETHAL PERFORMANCE place.. they
supposedly have good deals as well.
