SRT-4's for the price its a great car for a kid that cant afford to buy a really expensive fast car.Face reality Its just a neon and anyone can post a dyno of what a car makes, A dyno graph does not drive the car for you. Just because it makes that power dosent mean it will drive well or hook up. I rode in a stage 3 car it felt strong but with only 360-380 whp it was freaking all over the place and was very scary to ride in. Im not trying to dis anyones car Im sure some one that can afford a Viper or a Ford Gt will say our cobras are just mustangs. Yeah you can throw boat loads of money into a car but in the end its just a neon just like or cobras are just mustangs.Keep that in mind any thing can be modded but when manufactures test cars they test them stock. Thats true performance in my book. It eliminates the well if I did this to my car then what?While the other rival states the same thing. just my 2 cents.

just so you guys know we went out in the 800whp srt last night...we had a race set up the the vw that beat foofanator on 17psi in his 3.4 whipple....we had it on c16 with the et street on it....and holy ****..there was a very well know twin turbo viper here in ft worth that was going to pace them and see how the race went...well as soon as they went the vw broke his tranny from what i was told...but the srt and the viper who just happens to make 1200whp on pump gas ...yes 93 oct..stayed in it till at least 180ish .and when we got back to the place we met at..the viper owner was in shock that he took off just a little before they did and the srt stayed right on his bumper all the way till they shut down....this was the first street race with it on the c16 tune...and it put it to the ground insane....i trap 125mph in the 1/4 on pump and when i shut down at 140ish i could not see there taillights....thats how bad they were pulling away..damn...time for my new setup...

the fastest skittle is the red sled low 9s....at 150+mph dumbass...get your facts right....and guess what the srt in this topic makes 80 more whp than ther red sled does....if you have a buddy that has such a nice srt then he would know of the ams built srt....ask him and learn...and wait what more is there to be done than i have..umm built motor and cams with a ported head....thats it ..i said i have every other bolton you need for a big turbo...im waiting for this motor to pop and the stroker goes in thats sitting in my shop...

haha whats the stroked cobra trap...125ish....hmm from a roll sound like where we would be it just im 600pounds less than his car so that = ME PULLING HIM....ive owend this car since it was new...its been raced the whole 71k miles thats on it....i hade a exhaust and a intake at 20miles on the car....i was running 7.7s in the 1/8th mile at 90mph with a bone stock turbo...with bolt ons...i think i can drive this car fine....and the owner of the stroked car is a good freind on mine and he runs high 6.s in the 1/8th but from a roll its a diffrent race....

This is the part of the post that matters when talking about dyno #'s vs. track #'s.
If I have a 1000 hp mustang that has never been to the track, is it fair to say I have a 9 second or 8 second car? Depends on how you look at it. Maybe I can't drive, maybe I run on a pure street radial, maybe my suspension isn't set up at all for the track.
Now consider me racing on the highway from a roll. I guarantee I can decimate a car that runs in the 10's at the track. This is especially true if the car that I am racing hooks really well at a track and is putting all of their power to the ground right out of the hole.
I'm not trying to start the argument of whether racing from a roll is really racing or not, I am just pointing out that when you talk dyno numbers and highway racing, statements like, "I killed a 10 second car" don't necessarily equate to what you can run at a track.

BS on viper making 1200whp then. a 1200rwhp viper with its good aerodynamics should have been a couple busses ahead but hey, anything happens on the streets. I hope somebody recorded this one.

LOL... It's called a curve and a Viper making 1200 sports a curve 3 times bigger than any SRT-4 spoiler meaning if the Viper went WOT with its displacement and 1200 HP then the little SRT-4 only having 800 would be left sitting by the Viper like it was a 100 HP civic if traction wasn't an issue. Even from a roll!!
Weights for the vehicle from a roll doesn’t come into play, pending the roll speed… especially when there is a 400 HP difference between the two cars. So, come again?

A few skittles roaming the streets doesnt make the cars fast. The majority of them around dont make your kind of power. You talk about the viper race, any vids perhaps? of course not... With enough money I could make a toaster fast. Does that mean it itsnt a toaster anymore?

Yeah alot of horse shit here. I remember guys talking last year about SRT-4 finally breaking into the 10's. Street cars mind you. This guy's talking about low 9 second skittles as if thats the norm. Thats a full on drag car im sure.
