There was a Flowmaster catback on my car before I bought it and it was all rusted out from the inside after 8,000 miles!! I switched to Bassani and never looked back.
I had full Bassani exhaust on my car and thought it sounded like crap. Flows may not be the prettiest muffler after some time but they will always sound better!
You can always paint them with hi-temp flat black or silver.

This is true. The flowmasters may sound good, but the drone gets very annoying. Mac sounds better and deeper, and also has less drone. This is without cats. I'm sure either one will have very minimal drone with them.

In regards to Flowmaster, i wonder what muffler was used in those tests. As far as loudness is concerned, Im sure a 1-chamber would be either 2nd or 3rd.
I have MAC and really am not as impressed with the sound.... off-road SLP X-pipe and 2.5 in mac stainless steel. I am thinking about switching to flows 40-series 2 chamber. I would have thought the Modular Four-Valve would be louder with a free flowing exhaust...

I'd say mac, but I've got a question, I'm looking into getting exhaust for my 03 Mach 1, (just running a midpipe/catback) and I'm wondering if any of you have ever heard a mach 1 with a mac prochamber and a mac catback, (a buddy of mine had mac longtubes, prochamber, and catback on his mach but it's not going to sound the same due to the fact that he had longtubes on his) just wondering, any help would be appreciated
