Well thank you for the obvious moron answer if we want to go faster.
Unlike some people maybe we just found a good deal or didnt have the money for a cobra. I know I didnt at the time, and I do now, but I wont get rid of my car to get one.
This is my boy's old 00 GT. Stroked to 302 c.i., heads, cams, intake, 360 rwhp at redline. 380 rwhp at 7800 rpm, and yes, it's built for the higher redline.
Unfortunately, the great powers at State Farm decided that because he didn't pull the parking brake up enough and his car was allowed to roll into another car, which did nothing to the Mustang, that he should have his insurance premiums DOUBLED, and he was forced to sell it. Not two weeks after he sold it, the buyer destroyed the engine, but that is another story.
That car was a BEAST, and would eaily run a low 12. It was loud and nasty too, with the free side effect of being able to get high if you stayed still for too long. It was never tuned right. The funny thing was, he didn't build it. Some other guy in south Louisiana built it, had to sell it, and my friend found it on the internet and bought it for $11,700. It had like 3xxxx miles and was in great shape.
BTW, fo the guy that said just buy a Cobra, this car would smoke every single Cobra ever made from the factory, up to today. Now, of course with little effort, you could put a Cobra back in front of this car for relatively little money, but the fact remains, some people can't afford a Cobra, and the impending insurance rates, and you can make a GT fast.

Awsome cars guys keep em coming, I am in the market for a cobra, but I am having a hard time finding the right one for me, and there really isnt that many out here anyway for sale, not to mention some people just are our of thier minds like the redfire that is for sale in the autotrader with 20k miles and he wants 32k give me a break,...so I am leaving my options open, I hate being mustangless and I hope I find the car for me soon....

Granted may be fast but it is not faster than a terminator for one, and two we are talking about a HCI car versus a stock one, like comparing apples to oranges...
