I saw that a couple of weeks ago, too. Not sure about a kid that young doing what he did. Is it even NHRA legal? Or was this something the track alone allowed?

How would they stop a twelve year old from racing... actually perform a tech inspection?
Dad turns in tech card, twelve year old rides bike around to staging lane, twelve year old heats the tires up, twelve year old stages the bike and leaves the line hard, twelve year old kicks some butt... repeat as needed... at various tracks around the south.
I got chills watching the video for the second time. That kid can be compared to one of the best child prodogies (sp?) ever. Actually what is the youngest rider to ever hit 8's on a bike? Has to be him.

Doesn't matter how much skill he has a 12 years old is too young and too small to handle a street bike let alone a Busa that easily has over 200hp. Sure he's been lucky, but what are his parents going to do when he crashes at 140mph? Do they not want to cherish the rest of his life or at least til he's 16? If that kid crashes, he's dead or severely injured and that's it!
Very irresponsible on the parents part IMO. Whatever happened to the jr dragsters? At least they have a cage.

I'm pretty sure his parents aren't forcing him into doing that. The kid is making his own choice doing that. I think it's great he's doing that. You can die riding a dirt bike as well, so should we not let little kids do freestyle moto-x? No matter what age you are if that crashes it's over. Obviously the kid made a choice and his parents allowed it. Call it irresponsible or whatever. If I had the chance to do that at that age, without a doubt I would have done it.

Oh **** off both of you. Not much difference than putting his ass on a dirt bike and sending him flying 30ft in the air. He could die either way you cut it. Foot ball, karate, whatever. Piss off.
