Damn its a tough choice, im leaning towards cats but then again there are days where you just wanna be loud and proud (i know i do) Hell just switch em every so often!! lol
I've never quite understood why people have to list every car they've sold in their sig - guess it makes for illin baller status though. It's like the people that tell you about a car they used to have that'd "whoop that Cobra's ass!" - well that's nice and all but you don't have that car anymore.
I too have had my bassani X with out cats and with. I like catted better.

I have the magnaflow x with cats and borla stinger CB and love it... I voted x with cats but I would choose the magnaflow x with cats over the bassani...

I've done both and currently have o/r and love it. Cats clean up and turn the volume of the exhaust down about 40%, but I will admit it was a lot easier to talk on the phone with the cats
CATLESS! it's all in the x-pipe though......do yourself a favor and get a Dr. Gas O/R x...there is NO better match for the Stingers.

I started with a catted Bassani X and Stingers. I removed the cats about two months ago. I'm never going back. I don't think there's a better combination that sounds so good as the RPMs slowly rise when you're in traffic. Everyone is just like... whoa... Just my opinion though.

IMHO cats almost always sound better than no cats. With cats the sound is mellower and more crisp, without cats it's more raspy and obnoxious, which can be good and bad.

imo your setup sounds best with the cats as it really cleans up the sound and you can hear the blower whine so much better!!! But it does also sound good catless too, just in a different way.
I have ran my Stingers with both and to me the O/R X sounded way to raspy and retarded loud! Catted X FTW! Not the best vid but here it is on my old vert. YouTube - 03 Cobra drive bye
I think its the type of x-pipe used. The bassani and BBK sound like crap off road. The true x design like magnaflow, ARH, Kooks, etc sound much cleaner.
