*Cleaned up my cobra, 56k Warning*

Started cleaning up the car last friday with a trip to Kevins(04sleeper) to polish the catback and roll the fenders (thanks again Kevin.) After that got the car home and put the car up on jackstands for several days and cleaned up.

on the way to Dallas

Exhaust pre polishing, man it was nasty

Added MRT chrome rolled tips

rolling fenders

After the trip back the car was dirty, plus I have not gotten a chance to really clean this car up since I bought it.

Did a quick clean up of the under hood, it wasnt to dirty
Before

the Tools

Cleaned up, still needs some dressing on the plastics

cleaned and sealed the top with ragtop cleaner

Before pics of fenderwells, gas tank cover etc

wheels were nasty

rear fenderwell coated and painted the rear calipers black to match the front

sealed the front brakes with poorboys wheel sealant, used poorboys boldnbright on fender plastics

used aircraft paint stripper and steel wool to clean the paint and dirt off the wheels, then used some meguiers chrome polish and poorboys wheel sealant on them

Gas tank cleaned and dressed with poorboys

clayed the fender lips and rockers
before

after

then clay barred the entire car

TEASER PICS OF MY TF Wheels, tires should be here text week

had already cleaned the inteior, but addes some MGW interior stuff

And finally the car clayed and waxed

What a detail!

The pipes are amazing. What grit sandpaper did you use on the exhaust pipes?

We wet sanded the exhaust starting with 100 grit, working up to 2000 grit. Then used a cotton buffing wheel with mother mag&alum polish.

Good god, Garlen. I'm borderline hating you right now.
I need to leave the Bullitt with you for a weekend or so. I'm envious of your patience.
