So the catfish is a high 10 car and the evo is a low 10 car?
Good videos, that must be awesome to have a place to run during the day with no issues.

could be. But this is the street not a prepped track so anything can happen. The camaro actually took the evo out of the hole but the evo drove around him. More Horse Power FTW in this case. I wonder if they lined up more than the once or if the camaro owner called it quits after the first beating.
last time out the evo went 10.41 @ 135 on 93 octane at 30-34psi power shifting. on the street this time I was at 40psi on Q16 with better tires but granny shifting. There's more in it but my twin fuel pumps and 95lb injectors aren't keeping up...I have an upgraded fuel rail coming. If that doesn't solve the issue I'll disable the pressure release on the twin walbros and may upgrade from 1000cc to 1200cc injectors. I've got room for 3psi more (3bar pressure sensor limited to 43psi) and some timing.
Nice vid that Evo moves out quick, but what was up with the GTO and ZO6 crappy tires? Driver mod?

Those Evo's are fast when the right parts and guy tuning it knows what he's doing. There was a fast Evo down here in Tampa it was a Brother's performance car. He had a built motor was on 40psi the first time and then spray on the second outing. We raced to diff times he had problems both times trying to beat me and blew it up on the second outing trying to spray against me. Out of the 10 runs he got me one time and that was from a 45 roll brake boosting which is a bad speed for my car and it's gearing. MOFO has the vids but never posted then up being he was good friends with them.

yep, street tires on cold pavement and too much throttle.

Mellon Tuning - Packages I do road tunes and remote tuning via e-mail by sending the ROM/Logs back and forth. I cater specifically to the EVOs with the stock ECU. That's why I'm running the stock ecu/mas on my own EVO, to make the point that you don't need the AEM EMS etc...to go fast.

2 liter, low compression, 4 cylinder...requires lots of pressure to make the power. I could make quite a bit more power with the 42R turbo (~ 1000awhp) but the streetability goes to shit since the turbo doesn't even think about spooling up until 6000rpm + Also the HP will go from 350-900+awhp in an instant when the boost hits which means changing lanes and spinning like nuts...not my cup o tea.
