Too many to list, I've actually forgotten about some of them and when I find them again it's almost as fun as it was buying them in the first place. I did this with a H&K P7 last week, I thought I had 3 of them, well, it turns out I have 4.

I'll give you some of the major catigories:

28 - M1 Garands (1 Gas Trap)
8 - M1A/M14
7 - AR's
12 - Parker Brother's SxS shotguns
2 - .50 BMG's (1 McBros repeater/1 Barrett M82A1)
13 - High Standard Supermatics
11 - 1911's
7 - Colt Pythons
6 - Colt Woodsmans
9 - Pre-64 Winchester Model 70's
4 - H&K P7's
14 - 1903's (2 original pre WWI Springfields)
7 - Krag Jorgensens (2 Italian walnut Krags)
13 - Colt SA Armys
6 - US marked shotguns
17 - Colt Police Positives
6 - Glocks

Some day you need to take a picture with all of them in it.

I've been thinning out the herd over the last 4 years, I've sold about 30% of the collection; the above numbers are a good guess as to the actual number right now, could be more, could be less? The Garands, 1903's, Parkers and High Standards are my favorites.

Too bad quite a few of mine are NFA and can't just disappear.

Definitely my favorite of any gun I own.

I was talking to a few of my friends about MP5s and how I was surprised none of them had had one yet and they said because of the cost. Are they really worth the money?

I've always liked them ever since I went on my 8th grade trip to the FBI building in DC and watched a hot female agent do a demonstration with one in their indoor firing range.

I think they are. An SBR HK-94 runs around $3-6k (or at least it did before last November), and an auto-sear runs around $13k, but that sear will work in every caliber 9x series HK gun. So with one auto sear, you can shoot .308, .223, 9mm, 10mm, .40 cal. It's the best value out there in the full auto world.

I wish I would have bought a mp5 a couple years back. Now they are out of reach unless the stock market comes back strong or I sell some toys. I would pick up a sear like txyaloo if I did do it. Then look for a host gun.

Wow, I didn't know about that sear. I did see a guy at the gun show that picked up a Vortex(sp?) lower I think it was with an HK upper for an MP5 and I overheard him talking about shooting .308 out of it. I couldn't imagine what the kick would be like on that.

HK's don't really have uppers/lowers. That's an AR platform thing. HK's have a trigger pack that will fit several different grips. Also, an MP5 won't shoot .308. You'd need a different host gun for that (G3, HK-91, HK-51, or their clones). .308 running full auto out of an mp5 form factor is quite a kick.
