This is from my friend Dan's 93 Viper at a track event the other day. I'm about 1:25 into the video. I was running 245/45-17 Kumho MX's on the front and 245/45-17 Bridgestone RE-01R's on the rear.
Fraser, you by far were better driving in my opinion, if you had extra 100hp, you'd be up in his kitchen!!
I like how he says "chasing a track prepared mustang".........your driving is 10 times better than him, you need to post up the video of you behind him where he, on the straights, gets away and you catch him on all the turns.
I just hope when ever I get to HPT I can hold off this viper.
Maybe you should drive my car.

Nah, he's pretty good with that thing. He got into track driving after I'd already been involved for a while, and I've been personal witness to his development, which has been steady. He was also nervous about one of his tires that night. But for reference purposes, 2-3 years ago I was faster than he was...but my car was 5 seconds a lap slower on that configuration than it is now. Now he's easily 4-5 seconds a lap faster than I am...meaning he's made an easy 9-10 second per lap improvement with absolutely no changes to his car. That's pretty huge any way you slice it.
That said, he's running Kumho track tires, albeit old ones...if I'd had my NT01's on the car...
This video is from my car, and it picks up where he leaves off. He's definitely faster on the straights and I can hold my own in the corners, for now.
I'm making a swaybar change on both ends of the car. Stay tuned, there's another event on the 14th, I'll see if it's any faster then.
