Nah you're right, but I actually have the vid on my computer.. it was a dark blue SS with a forged 347, TEA LS6 heads, G5x4 cam, fast 90/90, yada yada yada.. it was about 2-3 years ago.. It was one of the best races to hear a 67 scream to (presumably) 8,000 rpms plus rowing through 4.10's
If you want I can upload it, but it's not my vid to do so, maybe the OP knows the vid im talking about.
That's actually the LS1 screaming to 7200 rpms. It has a cut out and its aimed right at the 67 Camaro, which is why you can hear it so well.
Not only that but you can hear the red SS hit 7200 or better during the race that starts @ 2:08

Well, the blue 02 SS had a cutout, but neither of the f-bodys in the video I posted in this thread did ;)
That's the car I was referring to, sorry My whole point was that with a cutout, pointed right @ the 67, right under where the Camera man is filming, all you're going to hear is the LSx
