Go to the rubiconownersforum and to the jeepforum theres several buildups of v8 jeeps. the really crazy talented fabricators post up on pirate4x4

ive got an LJ rubicon that i bought 6 mos ago that i really like. the one thing i wich it had was more power though. check out the 4.6 liter strokers they make for jeeps. they get close to 300hp and its a whole lot cleaner and easier of a swap.

My Dad has a '79 CJ5 that was originally a 304 that he modded, and turned out to be a real strong Jeep. He eventually got rid of it for a built 360. It definitely doesn't sound like a Jeep.

I'd post some pics, but he rolled it and as it sits being put back together I don't know how bada$$ it would look without the windshield and cage.

Its super fun to drive though, I'd suggest that everyone should own a open top Jeep at least once in their life.

Thanks....I'm going to check those sites. My buddy in college had a CJ5
Golden Eagle 304 3speed with side pipes that was a blast to drive. From
a dig it was impressive since it was stock with only the exhaust.Just
wanted to see if some member's here had some they could post up.

Check out this vid. I found with a 360 AMC swap. It's "corny" to begin with
but, once he starts driving it....he hammers it lol
