I don't have any pix of it right now but if I see this guy @ the gym again I'll ask him if he has a website w/ some pix posted. 1100 HP procharged mustang. He said its like 965 HP w/o nitrous.
Here's our car. It hasn't made any big power numbers yet, only about 550 to the tire with the old setup, but it did go 9.87 @ 143 at that power level. It's got a totally new setup now, so it should be putting down in the 800-1,000 range to the tires in the next couple of weeks.
Old Setup, 8-rib, 12psi, no intercooler, EPEC:
New Setup, Cog, FAST, Air to Water, Carb-style intake (there's actually a lot that has changed since this picture):

That looks nothing like my old '96 Snake.
Nice.

This is the only video I have of the car. This was the end of '07, around September I think. It was about 80-85 out and we hadn't touched the tune since it had been dyno'd in mid-July.

any info on the motor set up and what trans you were running?? and what procharger thennow?
Engine is a 347 - R block, Billet steel crank, aluminum rods, custom pistons with Ron Sharp ported Victor Jr. heads, custom hydraulic roller cam, and in that video an extrude honed Holley Systemmax intake. The blower is a ProCharger F1-R that we've had since 2003.
The car was originally built to be an NMRA renegade car, but we just don't have the time/money to make the NMRA races from where we are.
All that changed on the setup was the intake manifold, intercooler, piping, FAST box, Crank trigger, and cog system. It still has the hydraulic roller cam, and the Victor Jr. heads.
In that video it has a ProFormance C4 trans, but it will be switched over to a powerglide very shortly.

damn nice set up you have, really wish i would have gone with a better block myself as i know ill be itching for more power down the road
My 88 coupe was specifically built for NMRA True Street and has been driven to the local 8th mile track in the summer heat several times (40 mile one way cruise) and I frequent our local cruise-ins with the car unless my son (Chance 23 months) and daughter (Amber 5 yrs old) both want to go with me... I then take the Cobra. Full stock interior car minus the back seat weighing in at 3,400 lbs with driver. It has a 347 R-block built by Panhandle Performance in FL, TFS twisted wedge heads ported by T.E.A., Igloo Air-to-Water intercooler, and a custom Precision small framed 88mm turbo setup built by Top End Fabrications in TN (all the way to the 3 inch exhaust tips). Not sure what the power is on it now due to the fact that when had it dyno'd it had a very loose convertor and would only make 16.5 psi at the time turning it 6,500 rpm... on that day it made 835 to the tire on Panhandles MD Dyno. Since then we've corrected the convertor issue and have seen 30 psi on a few passes turning it 7,400 rpm (peddling quite a bit of course), so we're pretty sure we're over the 1,000 rwhp mark now. We installed all new suspension over the winter and switched to Hoosier 275/50 dragradials and have only taken it to the track once since the suspension change. We only got 2 passes that day due to getting to the track late and then the track getting oiled down with someones tranny fluid after our 2nd pass. The 8.77 pass in my sig was the 2nd pass that day and we were basically just figuring out what psi the Hoosier DR's liked (only leaving on 2.2 psi and only making 22 psi on the big end with the AMS1000 boost controller turned way back) and didn't get to start leaving with any boost to see what the new suspension was gonna do due to the oil down. We hope to eventually start leaving on 6.5-7 psi and making 28-30 psi on the big end with the AMS1000 ramping in much faster. But only time will tell!
The 04 Cobra is your basic bolt on car (stock long block, 2.3 Whipple, supporting mods, and has made 651 hp on Panhandles dyno on 21 psi) and can be driven anywhere in the comfort of A/C. Car is still IRS (with DSS level 2 halfshafts) full weight car minus the Bogarts... I do have a small dry shot on the car, but haven't used it at the track yet. I purchased the car new in Oct of 04 and it now has a little over 6,400 miles on it, so I'm trying to be easy on it and keep it looking and smelling like new... which is why I haven't been back to the track for those 10 second time slips with it. I know it's got 10's in it (by the 132 mph), I'd just rather beat on the coupe I guess. Once I get done tinkering with the coupe I plan on building another motor for the cobra and setting the origianl one aside and getting serious with it... but Panhandle's wanting me to put a hybrid 94 or 96mm on the coupe once we reach the limits of the small framed 88, so I don't know if the cobra's engine build will ever get started. LOL
