yeah it was! was at school when it was happening ive never seen anything like that though there was at least 15seconds inbetween lighting strikes it was really cool

We had multiple strikes every second for a while. There was 3 or 4 flashes all continuous throughout the sky. I didn't have to wait longer than 2 or 3 seconds before antother stike came.

Real nice pics. I take it you guys in CA dont get that to often, wanna see lightning come to Florida. We have lightning 10x worse than that everyday.

We don't get that much lightning in Northern California. None as heavy as last night. Last night was really out of the ordinary. I know it is more common in other areas.

I think it started around 10pm. The local Sac TV stations had an emergency warning.
