Why does it sound like crap at idle and why does it have crap rims?

*The day I received my brand-new Cobra. . . . .well not really brand-new, but there were only 372 miles on it when I bought it in the summer of 06. *http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...-lot-pics.html
I love how a lot of people try their best to pick the car apart when it's above any mustang on so many levels. Is it too hard to appreciate a nice vehicle instead of getting jealous?
Nice Vette, but it wouldn't be hard at all for a ZR1 owner to get similar or better performance doing it themselves vs. paying for the Lingenfelter name plate. I guess if you can afford a ZR1 you're likely going to gravitate to a big name tuner like Lingenfelter. LOL!
One thing I didn't like at all is the sound of the stock exhaust system. At times it sounds like a ancient Model T Ford idling. I'm actually surprised it didn't have a Corsa setup, or similar aftermarket.

They obviously pulled the fuse that holds the exhaust butterfly's closed. They normally do not open until 3250 RPMS (on a Z06 at least..not sure on ZR1). Pulling the fuse makes them stay open all the time and gives it a tiny tad more HP down low.
dude was shifting his ass off and did a great job driving. badass car for sure. any 10.5 second car that u can take on a road trip is ****ing sick in my book.

The Ford GT in the video was a lot more than pullied. That was Joe's famous Twin Turbo Ford GT putting down well over 1000 rwhp.
In that video of the GT. It has a pulley, ford racing exhaust, and 75-100 shot of nitrous on it.
Both cars are great. Neither of them are set-up for drag racing. They are far and above all around cars then the mustang can be. BUT at 3x the cost they should. Awsome cars. My only complaint on the ZR1 is the boy window in the hood to show off and my only complaint about the GT is I don't own one yet.
