I hate the hood on the 2010, it looks so out of place and too rounded

I prefer the styling on the regular GT500 to the KR/SS on both years. But if I had to choose a SS, I would pick the 2010.

The angles make the car look a little bit smaller. The interior is much better. I also prefer the styling.

FWIW, I can't stand ram air style hoods on most mustangs but especially any mustang newer than 2004.

if they'd just switch out the hood for some other kind (heat extractor, SMALL cowl, etc) it would look sooo much better. the gigantic scoop way out in front really messes up the overall lines of the car. same goes for the scoops on the back windows... it just needs to be taken back down a bit. simplicity and sleek is a good thing when it comes to the lines of a car.

honestly it looks as though some of the ricer community has made their way up thru the ranks at shelby's design center or that the designers think that import styling is what everyone wants these days. if we wanted a car that looked gaudy and overdone like that we would buy an import and go shop at autozone, not buy a classic domestic car. the mustang doesnt need huge scoops, its a pony car not a civic.

The Supersnake is Shelby's handiwork, not Ford's. The 2010 GT500 is a pretty clean car overall.

what you talkin bout willis?

i do LOVE the S197s but its really hard to say which looks THE best. i also think the 95-98s were sexy as hell too

But S.S. to S.S. 07-09 is better. The stuff used on the 2010 S.S. is just gaudy and tacky. The hood doesn't work at all.

Then again Carrol Shelby will do anything for a buck.
yep. agreed.

Venting air to the solid quarter panel is very important.
