Jesus! It looks like he's launching at like 6k+ RPM... why is he bogging so hard on 17" wheels??? That thing would rip mid-low 10s if he could get a decent short time!

"WOW"! Not impressed with that "on-off" clutch. You still need a good launch in circuit/road racing and that thing ain't providing it.

Gotta remember on the tires that are usually on that car for road racing its NOT going to dead hook like that..even though it spins the slicks a bit it then hooks..its not a clutch set-up for drag racing..still not bad considering the engine mods. But that trans is what 20k bucks?

Not impressed at all considering there are drivers out there that have ran the same times bone stock. Yes lower altitude but still for $20,000 not impressed.

10's on "stock" Z06, that's pretty impressive. But those launches to look like it's holding it back from more.

I agree. The lack of a good launch kills what it should be capable of doing in the 1/4. I'm not all that impressed. Sounds sweet, though. :-)

(Camaro) I thought it ran 11.81@121, which for a new car is more impressive than the Z06 in question. Either its got a small shot or a good number of bolt-ons.

hmm 100 percent internaly stock engine .. IE i bet its got more to the out side.

lingerfelter went much faster with a stock trany with their zr-1

Did you miss that it's a Z06 not a ZR1?

LOL at people saying "drivers have run that fast stock", yea one guy did, in MINE SHAFT AIR. Not to mention either the clutch, or the first gear in that transmission is probably perfect for drag racing. Once it's moving, it's GONE. More people with $$$$$$$$ setups should start putting those transmissions in turbo cars, imagine that on the highway.

Those sequential transmission can't handle a lot of torque. Most of them are rated to handle 650ft/lbs.
