Eaton polish/paint blower mods

Eaton polish/paint blower mods

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Has anyone taken their Eaton and polished the flutes or done paint work? I am installing a ported one on my car and looking for ideas.

Also I am putting a polish/chrome Accufab throttle body and plenum

Anyone know the stock color for the blower and plenum? I tried 'New Ford Gray' and its not close. I want everything to appear factory.

Thanks for the post and pics guys. I'll update as soon as I figure out what to do.

I like the stock look but with the plenum and throttle body being polished it probably won't matter. I suppose I could go DSG to match the car since the JLT is that color. Let me know what you guys think

Cobra Mac. I believe that was my old ported blower. Did you have a guy named Kevin that worked at Ford do the work?

Do you mean engine work or painting it? I actually purchased this blower from another member on here a while back and did all the paint work myself

No worries at all man. Kevin might have done it...I can't remember. I had a brand new longblock put into it a little while ago and it was done over at Santa Margarita Ford...so it might have been him

I love the look of a terminator blower. Eaton, Kenne Belle, Whipple... They're all proportioned nicely and look taut. I can't stand looking at other blowers such as Magnuson... The drive systems look inefficient and they look flimsily mounted.
