The BOV doesn't sound like that. It sounds like a huge blast of air. I'll get a video of it on the street.

Tial is good, but I'd go Synapse (Synapse Engineering) all the way, they are the best around IMO. For that power, I'd want something a lot more precise for a BOV and WG.

Absolutely, just awesome freagin' truck.

I have a very similar setup in my GT....not a great street setup IMO. I drive around town in vaccuum all the time and if I get on it, by the time that giant 88mm spools on a 310 I am QUICKLY out of pavement! lol How long have you had it out and about on the street? Guessing you haven't had a chance to get it to the track? I'm only asking because I can switch to a tighter and converter and put down close to 1000HP on the dyno, then only rip off a 10.4 at the track. Drop in a looser converter and drop 150 RWHP yet drop down into the 9's.

That sure is one bad ass Lightning though! Still to this day the best vehicle I ever owned, and mine only laid 400 at the wheels!! If only it would of towed my car trailer.

Nicest lightning on here and it's ****in' cool but how long do you think transmissions are going to last in that thing if you make the 1100rwhp?

I've had it back for a few months now. It performs great on the street, especially for those guys who always want to roll race me. I've only had it to the track once for a shakedown pass. I need a dual caliper race brake set up to hold the boost on the line. That'll be next on the list. On my street tune it went 12.00@123. It'll go 10's on the street tune and 9's on the race tune once I get it all sorted out.

The tranny is built by BTS, who also builds them for pulling diesels that make over 2500lb ft of torque. If I break it, he'll fix it. Best transmissions and customer service around for these trucks.

Surprisingly low trap speed for that kind of HP. And I hear you about the brakes, just put a Strange dual caliper setup on the back....there is no way IMO to build boost without them. Pretty ridiculous riping off 1.6 60 fts and trapping at 149! lol And after having two thrust bearings eat into my crank, done sitting on the transbrake for 7-8 seconds trying to build boost with a tighter converter. Good luck on the journey to getting it all sorted out....9's was not nearly as easy as I thought it would be given the HP the car makes. Turbos are really a science project.

That trap was on my street tune, with a terrible lagging 60ft. You also have to remember I'm in a 5000lb rig, not a Mustang. It was also right in the middle of one of the nastiest Houston summers I can remember for a long time. It's definitely a science, but it'll be fun.

They're not really 390's like a BFG or Michelin would be, but they're damn wide!
