Whipple lightning and turbo cobra playing around...
Went out and met with a friend today to do some pictures and get in a few runs. Didn't have the longest stretch to go at it on but we did what we could.
His car is as follows,
- built 302 4v from proline
- fr500 heads
- turbo cams
- 78 mm hellion
- bs3
- 12/13 psi tune low boost which makes mid 600's
My truck..
- mmr 900 sb
- 2.3 whipple
- stg 2 cams
- stock manifolds, heads, tb.
- 18 psi 550/640 ish
Basically we went from a 20 punch as he didn't want to do a dig due to no spooling aids. I was in 2nd gear and he was in first. Didn't want to down shift as it blows the tires completely off from what i've been able to test with the nittos. Need to take the truck to the track...

Daytime videos are always the best! Cobra was in 1st and 2nd.. didn't exactly have the longest stretch to play on.

He doesn't like the hood either, probably going to ditch the sullivan and get something that he can run the stock hood with. Cobra wasn't spinning either.

He had half a tank of racegas and half 93.. not sure what the smoke is from, could be some oil getting past the catch cans.

Cobra WAS spinning in third gear. It's easy to tell my car runs same way
