Check out this IRS on a GT500E Restomod. This IRS is SICK. Dics's on the inside and airbags on the outside. Looks to be AirRide bags. Thought I would share...:beer:

looks like a a SRA turned IRS...never seen something like that. Car is amazing though...i love a nice clean all original car, but a resto mod is something you can have fun in, have the luxuries of today, and look better than anything else! Sweet car!

nice lookin' piece. due to the lack of upper control arms(the half shafts take over that job), i'm wondering if they based it on a C4 vette or a jaguar rear end.

as suspected, based on the older jaguar IRS(very popular with the hotrodders/streetrodders).

Interesting place to put the brakes.

inboard brakes FTW! lowers unsprung weight, though not real common due to safety concerns(no rear brakes if you snapped the half shafts).

Jags had inboard rotors just like that. I don't like the way the drive shaft does the work of the upper arm.
