The 2JZ car you speak of is set up for the 1/8th mile (ADRL series..) It is the 3rd fastest in all the competition, running in the 4.0x's. Even Billy Gliden who runs amazing 1/8th mile couldn't run that deep into the 6's, gear the cars for the 1/4th and they will destroy a lot of the competition.

i havent seen one do it yet untill its done i call b.s again the mod motors dont use nitrous to aid them but the 2jz sure as hell do its a known fact the 4v is capable and will out power/tq a 2jz in all out race

Not to mention the imports dont have to abide by the same rules when comparing to the rules of the NHRA and the NMRA. If you took the gloves off some of these cars could run faster times.
i love this hype that everyone brags about 2jz this 2jz that lol i would like to even see one of those drag cars run the weight that has to be run in the nmra pro 50 etc. 7,s at best for them with the nitrous flowing and full boost ahead lol

The only rules in ADRL is the tire size.. it has to be a 10.5W.. 3rd fastest time is from a 2JZ motor, they also use to hold the record.. Give some respect when it is due..
unfortunately the owner most likely got stuck, but should have been the idiot that had the AF at 12.5.
