POSI's POST WITH LINKS FIXED

Here's the finished picture of the blower in question that I finally got. If anyone can I don't know how to just show the picture here. So here's the link to it.

Steigemeier there's nothing left of your port other than the small hole in front of the larger one on the bottom of the case. Even the part you've been harping on isn't what it seems anymore.

Also I had no intentions of starting any crap and I even re-cut the bottom to a design I could muster. If I could cut the design I'm using now I would've but it wasn't possible.

From now on all my finishes will look pretty much like that inlet. I'm still getting all the cutters and stones lined up.[/quote]

Good Luck with the New Venture Brian. You've got my support and Steiggy has lost my business for ever. They had to redo the port on my old car after the car lost power from adding his stage 4, after the first report, they swapped the entire blower the 2nd go round.(got a different serial number back) and the car finally ran the way it did before the port.

Competition in any business brings out the worst in people. This economy doesn't help for sure. But the way this was all handled by some is even more disappointing.

Keep up the good work Brian.

brian i'm glad to see you got everything squared away. if i ever get a 03-04 cobra or decide to put a eaton on my 99, you'll be the guy to do my port work.

brian is a local guy to me and is very straight up and forward and defenitly would take somebody else's work and claim it as his.

Maybe I will send my stage 4 to get it redone, maybe now I can get the numbers I was promised from STEGG that I never got. They also did my throttle body and plenum, and by the way when I sent in my stuff to get ported everything was in mint cond only about 5000 miles on everything and when I got my stuff back throttle body for sure wasn't mine it looked like it shit and old so who knows if they really sent my origanal stuff back.

I can't guarantee numbers right now but I'll make the promise you'll get "your" stuff back. Unless there's something wrong with it and I call to let you know what needs to be switched out.

No more hump...egr blocked off....and even the look of the aluminum is different. Reguardless if it was re-ported or it was from scratch...its done by posi to the fashion that it is now.

How do you not get this but every other person does???

Right on, Brian. I was one of the first people to post in Steggy's thread on this subject and I knew that there was an explanation behind it.

Let me know when you want to grab a round, brotha.

The one I did from scratch is going to be dyno'd tomorrow. Should be tuned by the end of the day.

Then the re-worked blower I'm not sure on. The guy lives in Boston and they got about 10" of snow so he's "weather" permitting. I'll post them in here and the other thread.

from what i gather from all this ,the new un proven blower guy 'posi 'is breaking into this business the old fashion way "buy one or steal one then copy it to the best of your ability, then talk bad about the innovator(stieg) '' to sell your" new & improved" version. this same scenario has taken place in every facet of the high performance since the market was invented. steig being in business for many years knows this im sure.but put yourself in his shoes he probally has 1000's of hours in R&D and saved posi alot of heartache. but thats the way it goes stieg. on another note only the true innovators and original thinkers last and prosper.( eldebrock, holley, hooker, ect) through customer service and new products. and the rest burn out rather quickly. this post is from the outside looking in

Not to mention, he is just wrong. Posi did his own blower first, on his own and it works very well.

Sorry but my ports do not look like anyone else's my friend. So I'd say they are mine lol. Nice try though but I'll continue to take the high road and let dyno numbers and track times speak for my ports.

Let's see so far lets evaluate. I've done 5 ports so keep that in mind.

1. My Convertible is the quickest/fastest no nitrous car in the country that anyone can find. And it's by no means set up for drag racing.

2. I predict the blower I just re-worked will now run 9's pretty easy.

3. The blower that was on my car is going to run sub 9.80's before the summer is out.

So to sum it up by the end of the summer. There will have been 3 Eaton cars ever in the 9's and I will have the blowers on two of them. Then my car still lol.
