Had a 360 Modena For Lunch!!!

Sitting in my office today I see across the way a nice yellow 360 Modena waiting at a light to go down Hillsboro Blvd East. I know that the light takes for ever so I ran to my car knowing I had a good chance that I could get onto the road with him after the light turned for him. His light turns green and he comes around the turn pretty fast and passes me. I turned and caught up to him because he was slowing down a bit. We end up beside each other in second gear doing about 40mph when we glanced over at each other to acknowledge that IT WAS ON.... He had the jump.. But instantly I gave full throttle. Second, I pulled to where his car was at my rear bumper. I shifted nicely into Third and then starting pulling gradually to where I had about 2 full cars on him. We both shut down before 4th gear. As he pulled up I gave him the thumbs up and told him I love his car and I'd much rather be driving it than mine. He then asked what I did to my car and I briefly told him what mods I had before we told each other to have a good afternoon. Another good kill for the Black03.

Good kill,if I ran out of my job to go race,let's just say I would have alot of free time to race after that.

God I love 360 Modenas. My dream car. They sound like heaven and run like hell. Not fast enough for a modded 03 cobra though.

I have a Sony digital camcorder with a remote which I would have loved to use when I raced the 911 turbo and this 360 modena. All I need to do is to figure out the best way to mount it in my car and what level of focus to keep it at to get a good clean vid. I thought that I could get some velcro tape and mount it above the rear seats facing the back of the car because thats where most of the cars I race end up. I promise to do soem experimenting this week, and hopefully Ill have soem good footage soon. Black03

Man, that was freakin' hilarious!!! GREAT KILL, though! And the F-355 GTS is still my favorite among the prancing horses. Of course, considering the 360 replaced it you would have eaten the F-355 for lunch, too...lol

Nice kill. Checking out your mods, I could see why you walked him. I got stomped pretty significantly this weekend myself by a F355 Berlinetta. It wasn't pretty seeing those round taillights get smaller and smaller...
