On my way home from work I saw a nice WS6 with some rather large meat out back entering the hiway so i take persuit, when i pull up beside him he is big pimping leaning low and sittin on some pretty big wheels prolly 19's.
Well we slow to about 40 and he takes the hit and instantly puts a half car on me he shifts to third and i gain ground, i hit 3rd and he pulls really hard and puts a car on me.
We slow and do it again, again same results.
one more time but this time he gives me the hit and i was about 4k in 2nd gear and put his door at my rear bumper then he hits third and pulls back even with me and i hit 3rd and he pulls away..
Turns out the guy was pretty cool and kinda waved and went on his way.
I know he wasn't stock cause when we were running i could not hear my car over his.
I am having some clutch issues which is causing me to kinda delay the shifts but other than that my car was running ok

Can be nasty? Are nasty, period. Stock, modded, crappy driver, good driver, doesn't matter. Terminator is the name for a reason.
Good death. New edge Cobras and LS1's are a closer race than most expect. If you had a Coupe car and werent having clutch issues you might have pulled him.
if those times are recent in your sig than i would say you ran into a stock ls1 with a catback cause they trap in the 106-107 range which is right on par with your story. nice death though...no shame there.

Sounds like you ran into a lightly modded ls1. Its always exciting running the enemy! LOL

Ugh... when I had my LT1 it seems like I went through that fear daily... I would hear the strangest noises... then the engine really did fail and I was a paranoid SOB for the next 3 years.
