On consecutive Saturday nights I have encountered two (different) C5's and had a short ~ 60-110 pull each time.

Both ended with me ahead by ~ half car, with the Vette taking the hit both times...

what do the PJ Saleen S 302's come with? I thought they had a 5.0 with some kind of blower? I would think that would be enough for a c5.

Forged stroker, mild head cleanup, cams, gears, pulleys, CAI, alum fly.

They were rated at 400, but make closer to 380-390 stock. I have Kooks LT's, o/r h-pipe, and JDM tune.

The blower gets installed this week...

Good Kill...:rolling:
From what I understand the PJ Saleen weighs about 3550 and is rated @ 400 hp but I think they were overarrated a tad ...
The 2 diff PJ Saleens I have seen have dynoed about 320 rwph..
Some can chime in if they have exact numbers...
By thw way the C5 LS1 Vettes weiged about 3200 and made around 290 rwhp...give or take Auto Vs 6 Speed...

Most dyno in the 320's stock...

Cool, track times? Run any I/E/tuned SRT-8s or GTOs?

I have been 12.9 @ 108 on stock wheels/tires. Ran an SRT Charger on the highway. Pulled him like he was standing still. I doubt it was modded.

Have run a couple of mildly modded Goats. 5.7 was no contest and I pulled the 6.0 slightly...

I believe I've seen your car it's beautiful are you a manager at Joe Cooper?

Yes and thank you...

"mildly modded" = I don't have a clue other than exhaust...:-D

And most stock PJ's dyno in the 320's...

Thank you, although the car comes with the forged stroker, cams, etc. I just added exhaust and will add the Supershaker...:burnout:

That tells me right there the Charger wasn't racing or it was an R/T. Should be a good race when one actually races you provided they either get a decent launch or start in their powerband. Nice car.

It WAS an SRT and he WAS racing. The outcome surprised me as well, but it is what it is...

Bad ass car!! With the 5.0 stroker kit and exhaust these cars come with the exhaust note alone sells these cars..... no $hit. We sold two of them here at the dealership I work for and I sold both of them just by starting the car up and letting the people hear them run. I can only imagine how yours sounds with the headers and no cats.

We are going to install a blower on the one customers car in spring.

I don't want to hijack your thread but I was instructing for a Saleen road course event summer a year ago. I had a guy come in with a brand new PJ car. I took him for a couple of laps in an S281SC, he practically begged me to take him out in his car. I finally agreed but told him I wasn't go to run it as hard as I did Sallen's car because I didn't want to break anything. The guys says "LOOK, I bought this car to run it the way it was built to be run... now I want you to run this car as hard as you can or I'll find someone else that will". Needless to say at that point I pushed the car pretty hard. The Saleen suspension package works great. The car is extremely predictable, very well balanced, has good brakes and actually rides decent for it's capabilities. It does lack a little low end grunt off the corners but that's not a biggie.

It's great to see people that buy cars like this and actually run them like they were built to be run. For that I

At the end of our session when we got out of the car and the owner saw all of the brake and tire dust down the sides of the car he said.... "I'm never going to wash this car again, it looks like a race car". LOL

OP I'm envious of your PJ!! Keep ejoying that beautiful car!!
