I hear you, good luck thought! Going to be kind of hard finding a chip only Cobra nowadays since most are either ported or have a different s/c. Keep us posted though

If anyone in orlando florida is down for a race let me know. i always liked the terminators and always wanted to race one (pullied), just for fun like the OP said. but as bluesnake01 said its hard to find one w/o another blower or a stock ported. my buddy has a 600 rwhp whipple 03 cobra and flat out destroyed me lol

My parents live in Apache jct. and I visit them sometimes, but we usually take our F150 supercrew so we don't have to leave our great dane at home, if I ever make it down there with my 04 Cobra in the sig we can surely stir up some fun, I've ran at Firebird raceway on friday nights a few times, so that would be cool, but pm me your Phone # and I'll keep you in mind if it ever works out, btw although I'd prefer the strip, I like to play on empty streets as well. Sounds like fun runs.

Here's a vid of me (stock C5 Z06) pulling a pullied Cobra (intake, full exhaust, 2.76 pulley and tune) 460ish whp. I've beat more than one pullied Cobra in my stock Z06.
hey JD Z28 look at z-eater HP and Q mile time... he has done 11.15 @127.30 with only 450rwhp and you are saying that you smacked the shit of a 460rwhp cobra..No F****** way you are going to do 11.00 secs to beat a 460 rwhp cobra, its just that he cant drive or that you have something done to your car and are not mentioning it..

I guess you didn't see the video. Like I said I've beat not one but two pullied Cobras making in the 450-460 whp range. The funny thing is my current 03 Z06 runs stronger than my 2002.
I honestly don't give a $hit if other pullied Cobras beat stock Z06's and vice versa, I'm still waiting on one to beat me.
If I lose to a pullied Cobra in the future I'll give respect where respect is due. Don't get me wrong I like 03-04 Cobras but I don't think a pullied one is faster than a stock Z06 (until proven wrong).
Well my old 03 Cobra ran 11.80 at 118mph with upper pulley non-ported blower,I have plenty of time slips to prove it. This cobra is auto,solid axle so it way faster of the line and autos dont make that much power at the wheels. I had 2002 Z06 stock and have beat pullied cobras before but at the track my old 6-speed cobra was faster than my old Z06. I was cuting better 60foots with cobra. both cars traped 118mph. i think its a drivers race between pullied cobra and stock Z06.
It's also funny how it took Ford a blower to take down the LSJuan F-Body.
These things cause a stupid dumb argument, you cannot compare two whole different engines, one is a OHV 5.7 while the other is DOHC 4.6. TWO WHOLE DIFFERENT ENGINES! It mostly depends on driver since some pullied Cobras have seen the Z06 taillights while others have beaten more modified Z06's. Driver mod is a plus, as you can see in FASnakes vids

My viper cutting 1.7 60' with 550 RWHP was cutting 11.05's -11.4's at 127-130 mph depending on the run. Granted I did not power shift to save my stock tranny. I am assuming that cobra has a lot of weight reduction, a great driver, and dialed in suspension. So not typical of cobra with 450 hp. I know my 03 with 470 RWHP averaged high 11's on street tires.

60' was 1.59, car is AUTOMATIC, SOLID AXLE i dont have to be a great driver since all I do is floor it. Only weight reduction is prostars and no spare tire and no irs. I think could of went 10s but since my car is auto and manual valve body i skiped 2nd gear on this pass (video below)and went 11.1x 120mph. This was in 35F weather since than I got kicked out for no cage, i got 2.2 Kb now so i hope for better times.my car is at 2min 50sec in this video.
