60' was 1.50, car is AUTOMATIC, SOLID AXLE i dont have to be a great driver since all I do is floor it. Only weight reduction is prostars and no spare tire and no irs.
So an automatic pullied Cobra with a SRA, no spare tire, and prostars - with NO other weight reduction - trapped 127 mph with 460rwhp?
The only way I would even consider believing this story is if this was at Atco and you had about a -6,000 DA. 124 is a pretty remarkable trap speed for a 6-speed pullied Cobra with a kickass driver, and it's also the fastest I've seen near full-weight. You're telling me you beat that by 3mph?

When I had my 04 cobra. I had a cat back, catted x-pipe, and a k&n drop in filter. I had 4 people in my car(including me). Well I raced a stock 02 c5z06(it was him and his buddy in the car) and we were dead even every single time we raced. And I mean dead even right next to each other. It seemed on the roll though that I would slightly pull?? which seemed odd but from a dig it was absolutely dead even.

you might have beat the driver but def. not the car! but good try anyways!

well...Lets do some math so we can prove he either wasent racing you or he didnt know what the hell he was doing.
Your car with 4 people in it is about 4200-4300 lbs give or take and that Z is about 3150 ...So explain to me how you having an extra 1000+ lbs can pull on a car that is around the same power as you with your basic mods (Without a pulley) ?
Just dosent add up ..
I do have to say though a 2.80 pulley intake/exhaust 03/04 cobra is good enough to slowly walk away from a STOCK 02-04 Z ..The Z would put up a fight but were talking about 3-4 cars from a roll....

Both cars are nice. In most cases the pullied Cobra will win. Maybe not in all cases but certainly in most.
I am putting down 385 rwhp with intake and headers/hi flow cats and stock cat back. My 03 Z06 is quick but I wouldn't say it was fast. Best time is 12.28 @ 118 (only 4 passes at the track). A pullied Cobra with decent tires should go faster than that.
The problem with the request of the OP is finding a pullied Cobra with only a pulley and tune. Most would have full exhaust and other bolt ons making the OP request a hard one to resolve.
GM and Ford hit a home run with both cars that are reasonably affordable and react to mods as well as these cars do. We are lucky to live in these times.

tell me how its still bs if I beat the driver?? You are probably correct. I know for a fact it was an 02 or newer because it had the 405hp on the badge right by the Z06 on the side of the car. Well reguardless of what you guys think we WERE racing and I DID stay completely even with him the entire time.

I never understand the whole "you beat the driver, not the car"... No shit, I have yet to see a car race all by itself.

If anyone in orlando florida is down for a race let me know. i always liked the terminators and always wanted to race one (pullied), just for fun like the OP said. but as bluesnake01 said its hard to find one w/o another blower or a stock ported. my buddy has a 600 rwhp whipple 03 cobra and flat out destroyed me lol
I got an 02 Z06 with an intake, full exhaust, and tune.
390 rwhp
381 rwtq
hey whats up man, im in debary, about 25-30 min outside of orlando. i ve got a pullied 04 if ur interested sometime.

I HAVENT YET TO RUN A COBRA LOOKING FOWARD TO A FRIENDLY RUN.. AT THE TRACK OR IN THE STREETS.. I HAVE A INTAKE THATS ALL SO A COBRA WITH MAYBE JUST A PULLIE SHOULD BE A GOOD RUN A HEARD.... FROM A ROLL OR DIG....
So, did you ever find a race? Don't have an 03-04 Cobra but I do have a decent running 99 Cobra. I played with a C5-Z06 on the highway a few weeks ago and pulled him pretty good but I was spraying. But the Cobra is really setup for road course racing. I have pissed off a couple Z's there.
Also have a 2000 Lightning that runs fairly well. However that one has a new motor that only has about 100 miles on it so it will be a while before that one is ready to race again, expecting 10's in that with the new setup. It would be fun to meet up at Firebird and have some fun running them off. If you really want to find a termy to run stop on over at High Performance Stangs High Performance Stangs - Powered by vBulletin . Most of these guys are local and love to race.
Now, looking at the picture in your sig I saw a black Z06 like yours at the over pass at Kyrene and 202 a few weeks ago. Sounded really mean, cams and exhaust. I was sitting there in my F150 supercrew wishing I had my Lightning so I could play.
Have fun and hope to see you around.

try to keep it stock..it should be worth a lot in the future
Are you serious ? I dont think terms will ever be worth that much, production numbers were too high. More importantly, theres zero difference in collector value between a stock car and one that's been fully modded then brought back to stock.

He would certainly have more power than the Z06 with his basic mods. I made 435RWHP with the same mods. Thats probably about 90 HP more than that Z06. However, I think a Z06 would pull me a bit if we both had no passengers.
