First of all easy on the caps locks! Second, these are the results against a pullied Cobra
So you might wanna think twice on that

You'll get drug by a pullied terminator.
How do I know?...I used to have one (pullied terminator) and I ran a C5Z with an intake exhaust and a tune and drug his ass.
Now I own a C5Z...so yes I have experience with both cars.

looked like the nighttime races in that second vid were of a pullied car? while the white car during the day was stock pulley cobra (?) didn't see a pulley in the mod list - if so it hung in there pretty good for stock pulley

You should lose against a pullied Cobra unless he can't drive...but that's no reason not to try.
A well-driven 02-04 Z06 could hit 117-118 (best timeslip I've seen is 118). A well-driven bolton/pullied Cobra could hit 123-124 (best timeslip I've seen is 124). Will most of these cars hit these trap speeds? No, but it's been done.

Yes it did but as you can also see, the Cobra pulled more/kept up better and it's a vert (assuming if a C5 Z06 owner encounters a hard top snake) so that could make another difference.

Who cares which one wins with minor bolt-ons, the point is that the Z06 is still the nicer car at the end of the day.

The OP care's hence the point of this thread, since he clearly said he wants to race one himself you know.

Then he should actually go find one to race rather than try to figure out what would happen by asking questions on a mustang forum

I'd love to run a c5Z but you're too far away. Hopefully someone on here will oblige you and possibly tape it.

He's on here to see if anyone in an 03 or 04 wants to run um. Re- read the original post.

i think it will be a pretty even run! both cars under normal circumstance trap about the same speed ~119mph.
here is my upper pulley only! 2.76 + idlers, bassani catted midpipe, and borla stinger catback, plus a tune!
vs a c5z with a cam, full exhaust, and a tune.
WATCH IN HD!
from a DIG:
and from a ROLL:
