They make about 440 whp stock. I see 3 possible outcomes for this race.

1. He beats you, the end.

2. Run from a dig. You start to pull bc he cant drive and he just keeps on the gas and loses control of the car and wrecks.

3. He beats you, then loses control of the car and wrecks.

Ask to race while his uncle is driving.

Teenager, prom, probable alcohol, borrowed high horse power car. Sounds like a bad idea. Tell him to call you back when he gets a real car of his own.

+2. It's not worth it man. And even though it's secluded doesn't mean he can't kill himself, his date, or you. It seems that most of the fatalities of my friends back in high school happened in "secluded" areas anyways, not on a busy highway. I'm sure this kid doesn't even know how to handle something with tht kind of power. Just my opinion.

Now that you pointed out all the elements, it does sound like something you would hear on the news..Tell him you want to race his uncle.

+1 I can hear the news report now

"...after the deadly accident which left 2 high schools kids on their way to prom dead, police traced the race back to an internet site. What they found was a few people telling him not to do it but many more egging him on."

x2.

I agree with these guys. I'm all for racing, but some chaunce with his uncle's Z06 sounds like a recipe for disaster. Tell him to take it to the track or get his uncle to drive. I'm thinking he'll never ask his uncle since he'd probably get his ass beat if his uncle found out he was trying to street race his $70K car.

But then you said it was an LS2 in this post? which would make it a C6 '05-'07. Not to be a dick but you seem just as confused as he is. If it's a C6 Z you will likely lose unless he takes a nap. LS2 you should win~Cole~

We are talking about a high school kid with a C6Z06. I am going to say there is a very good chance he can't handle the power of that car. I think you have a good shot at winning if going from a dig becuase he'll just blow the tires off of it.

i guess his uncle came to the senses and realized how stupid would be to lend a kid a powerful beast, so i say his uncle didn't lend him the car and he felt so bad that didn't want to show his face or talk to anyone

I'd order an NOS kit, and have it overnighted. Toss it on. Tune it. Then play. Even a midly modded 03 Cobra turns into a Monster with a 150 shot of NOS. These engines love the stuff.

Either way, who cares if you lose, its not his car.

My honest opinion is NOT to run him. He texted you talking shit about how your car is slow and he can beat you with SOMEONE ELSES car. Oh no, not the uncles car! I bet he doesn't even show up in a Z06. BUT, if he does, and you just can't resist, then here is what I'm thinking:

If he's borrowing the car, then I'm assuming he doesn't have much seat time in it. I'm also assuming that it probably has street tires on it. If you can drive and have drag radials, run him ONCE from a dig and make sure he doesn't get sideways into you.
