um when your talking a race from 40 to about 160 um easily the gt-500 in question has run as fast as 9.98 in the quarter.

no it wasnt malfunctioning at all the owner said he trapped 125+ mph here in sa
the problem was whoever tuned it is a tard and didnt know how to set up injector shut off timing at throttle lift to avoid the loud ass lean pops.
that is my personal 06 car that i drive daily and it makes 865 rwhp and drives as good as a stocker trust me thats not a driveability or tune issue.
The the back fire was simple spark blow out because i was running more boost that night then i ever had and the plugs were older and needed to be gaped down some.
I didnt have much time to prepare for that night it was the first time i ran 25 psi on the car and on the dyno it was fine up to 7500 rpm ... on the street with the higher load it was blowing the spark out ... all i had to do was re gap the plugs from .32 to .25 and the blow out stoped.
that car runs nines also at 139 mph
Thats a different story spark blow out i could under stand at wot.. but this car was poping every single time he shifted at part throttle a pop during full throttle shifts is some what normal due to the huge swing in fuel and air.
but every single part throttle shift to go BANG ?

It is a customers car I was driving the customer was in the passenger seat this was not a test drive nor was it during buisness hours it was a saterday we were going to the local hot rod cruise in and the customer was the one who told me to rape the henessey car.
Does this count as a kill with knowing the car wasnt tuned right and obviously having issues? The car wasnt running right. At one point you must have been behind him to be hearing his exhaust popping on his shifts. Just sayin

how do you know who tuned it? doesnt sound like hennesy, they do great work and i personaly seen the blown ss's run. But who knows it could of had bad gas? none the less god kill!!

Yes we have all heard he uses other car parts blah blah blah, but when he does complete a car it runs like no other. So stop getting the two confused, him stealing parts has nothing to do with how his cars run. His cars run strong with or with out the appropriate parts on, there is a reason his Vipers are always at the top of the performance shoot outs.
Granted if the thing is back firing that doesn't sound like a proper running car, but with out knowing which SC kit is on there and the HP he is running who knows if the out come was right. 15 cars is alot, but if he just had a SC slapped on the car sounds right to me.
