05 CTS-V vs. Ferrari F430

Short Story: I got whooped! duh...

Long story:
Coming home Saturday evening I noticed a beautiful exotic getting closer. Usually these kind of cars don't like to play so I just left it at that and kept driving. We were in a lil traffic but somehow both the exotic and I were able to clear the traffic and catch a light with me in the far left lane and him in the center lane. I look over and its a middle aged man with racing gloves on in a Ferrari F430 so I'm thinking to my self "I wonder if this guy will go?". Light turns green and we both baby out into the intersection but half way thru while I was still in 1st gear we look at each other and give devilish smiles. His front tire falls back to my back tire (not racing yet) so I was watching him thru my side mirror when all of a sudden he nails it.. the second I see his front fascia shoot forward I just nailed it and actually stopped his pull for about 5 seconds. I then shifted to second and he blazed past me and held me at bay by about 2 cars up until about 80mph... We pull up to the next light and give each other thumbs up and went on our marry ways... I would say that this was a fun race but I for sure got schooled on this one! Also not sure how I stopped his pull until the top of 1st which was about 15mph to about 40mph (just a heartbeat) before he rocketed past me and yes we were wheel to wheel at my shifting point going into 2nd...

He probably had paddles, so while you were clutching and shifting, he tapped his flappy paddles and kept the foot to the floor.

I would have loved to been watching from another car during the race. Not that I didnt want to race him but that I thought it would have looked awesome to see our cars going at it from a spectators point of view... lol im easily amused!
