Just had to post this! I'm still shaking from the excitement. Well tomorrow my friend went to the southern tip of Alaska to pick up his Carrera GT from having the turbo kit installed. When he got back he let me take it out by myself so I could tell him what I thought. First impression when I gassed it in first it hooked pretty good and pulled hard. Then I remembered it had the stock old tires on it. I punched it again and when the boost came on it spun real good. Next thing I know some kid that looked to be 15 pulled along side me in a red Ford GT with white stripes. He yelled over at me but at the time I was cranking some Soggy Bottom Boys so I couldn't hear him. I just pointed ahead and he punched it and missed a gear. I put about 80 carlengths on him by the time I hit 4th. Next was some clown in a ZR1. I decided not to waste my time on the Chebby. I was afraid of the top flying off that thing and hitting another car. I didn't wanna get caught up in something like that.
It was pretty cool. The car reminded me of a lowered version of a Boxster and the brakes felt about the same. Its my dream car. I plan to get one by the time I'm 30.

When you were driving your friend's TT Carrera GT did you see that drunk guy in the Ferrari going the other way? He does that all the time and when I'm driving my dad's friend's neighbor's brother's Veyron I always see him out and everybody knows him and that his life's a mess. I feel so sad for him.
BTW - the Veyron I drive all the time has upgraded turbos and it makes about 5000rwhp on a conservative mustang dyno but I'm easy on the car because it's not mine. I just don't like the cheap interior.

BTW - the Veyron I drive all the time has upgraded turbos and it makes about 5000rwhp on a conservative mustang dyno but I'm easy on the car because it's not mine. I just don't like the cheap interior.
Wow thats all? Hmmph...my friend's CGT has a big bore motor with stock pistons and smaller rods with upgraded bearings. I think he also told me he had a smaller stroke on the crank so he could spin the motor to 11,000rpms. I'm not sure he said the shop in Alaska kept it pretty secret. Basically this is pretty much the fastest Carrera GT in the USA. It made 5,001rwhp on low boost and 7,200rwhp on high boost with jet fuel. He has to go to the airport to get the fuel. The only reason he can get the fuel is because he knows someone that works at the airport. I would post up the dyno sheet but I don't have a scanner. I've got a video of it but I lost the cord to connect the camera to my computer. I'll try to buy a new cord. He has alot of pictures of the build on his camera but he forgot it in Alaska so they are shipping it to him next month.
