Code name Ford gave them while under development. And some of the parts are stamped or labeled Terminator. I think that at one point they were going to have two versions of the cobra. One similar to the 01 cobra, and then the supercharged Terminator Cobra. But that last part is just speculation.

2003 Cobra may be lacking its aggressive name, but that won't keep it from making impressive horsepower numbers. Ford chose not to use the designator "Terminator" because they thought it sounded too violent. Ford was also concerned that they would have to pay royalties for the use of the name "Terminator", as they did with the Bullitt Mustang.
There was much speculation that the 2003 Cobra would use a different motor, and that it would come with a supercharger. Unfortunately, it appears that Ford will still be using the 4.6L 4V Cobra engine, however it will be paired with an Eaton Generation IV SuperCharger. The Eaton blower should give the 4.6L engine the low end torque its been lacking since 1996 and bump Ford's new engine combo to 390hp. It appears that Ford will be using a T56, six-speed manual transmission to get the Cobra's power to the ground.
Ford is scheduled to officially release the 2003 Mustang Cobra's final specifications at the Chicago Auto Show on February 6th 2002.
Oh ok.............I don't really know much about them.............a friend of a friend of mine who has an Ferrari F40 is always talking about how he likes to waste Mustangs..............I haven't gotten a chance to ride in it yet, though.
You can't really compare a super car to a Cobra - I'd think the F40 would be able to out do the Cobra stock for stock - but that doesn't mean the Cobra is slow
What is a troll? I'm sorry but alot of the Mustangs I've seen weren't really modified...........I guess if you did alot of stuff to it you could outrun a Ferrari.........but I would take alot wouldn't it? I guess some of the older Ferraris aren't that fast though
I have a lot of stuff done now, but all it will really take is a BF pulley, ported blower, CAI and a good tune. That will give a slow ass Terminator mustang around or over 500hp and 500tq to the rear wheels. That is almost 200 more RWHP than a F430.

Good Lord.........it probably wouldn't take that much to outrun one of the older Ferrari's like the 308 or 328 though. You think a new cobra stock would hang with a 328 Ferrari?
You can not be serious. If Magnum PI were to be under production right now he would be driving a Cobra. The 328's were slow as hell, and had to have a tail wind to break 160mph.
