Do you sell Tracphone’s to terrorist’s ????

Ok I work retail part-time a couple of nights a week and we get these people come in and they all want the Tracphone Nokia 1100 pre-paid cell phones!!! Every time these weird customer’s ask for them these people end up buying everyone we have in stock (like eighteen to thirty of them at once). My boss told me we get twenty phone calls a day asking for these phones. So tonight I was helping this twenty something year old guy and he asked if we had some and I said “yea we’ve got 12 of them” we he bought them all and I asked what he does with them and he told me that some guy in California is buying every Nokia 1100 cell phone because they are untraceable when you make calls on them???? These phones sell for $19.99 and the guy in Cali pays double for these phones. All I have to say is WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If these are for Iraqi terrorist then god help your soul…….I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS TRUE, but it makes you think??

If you see a Iraqi guy show up on your flight with this phone ……GET OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha..








By the way my boss got a memo about these phones and was told that it was ok to sell as many phones a customer wants to purchase…..

late last year, there was a bunch of suspected terrorists in Midland, Texas buying up similar phones at Wal-Mart. There's been other instances of this kind of behavior as well.

yup. same deal here in alabama. middle eastern people come in and buy every cheap ass pre -paid cell we had..the excuse i've been given is they have a store and they buy them for resale..and only problem i have with that story is if you come in ,every week and buy the phones..full retail; you're not very good at your business..cause a legitimate business would be buying at cost, with a dealer discount... so throw that Bullshit excuse out the window..

I notified our loss prevention team and local LEO's tho. I personally, put a cap of 2 per person on em...and then had senior store management go over me and sell 32 to one arabian-looking woman... needless to say i don't work for people who would aid and abed posible felons...

If any of you notice any odd behavior or trends, don't bother with local law enforcement.

Get an inventory of the phones, make, model, and possible serial numbers....any sales receipts and credit card numbers should be recorded.

MAKE THEM USE A DEBIT OR CREDIT CARD IF POSSIBLE!!!
Call the FBI field office located in your state.
Ask to speak with an agent working in the Counter Intel office.

You will be doing all of us a favor....tell the officers the truth and then keep it to yourselves afterwards.

Illegals use the phones, drug dealers use the phones, people in foreign countries use the phones, hustlers/scammers use the phones, us service people over seas use the phones. I imagine terrorists use them as well.

The same issue is with the cheapy Virgin Mobile phones as well. You should only be able to sell 2 at a time, and take thier information.
