Well I/we can start assigning people to head up whichever area they can. Once we get started with that then whomever takes control of that area, we can all brainstorm and figure out a date, details, etc.. I was thinking sometime in May/June?? I know a few people in the Sarasota/Tampa area in Florida also.

Sounds good! I was also thinking for all of us in California.. Maybe the guys from the north and from the south can meet in the middle for a bbq, raffle, car show, etc.. at some sort of park area.. This goes for all the other states as well. I know the east cost fl guys from miami to north palm beach can meet up half way and also tampa, naples guys can do the same, etc..
I'll see what I can do about the upstate NY area, I'll spread the word in all the car clubs, from tuners to muscle, I know what this is like, I lost my sister September 2008 to breast cancer.
I'll see what I can get the local FORD dealerships to do as one of them is a partner with ROUSH.

What your saying is basically get people together all one day say June 10 (that's just a random #) and we would all have a meet in our own state to benefit Jon's family? From the title it sounds like taking off from CA and meeting up in NY or something like that. Anyway, again im down to go and could probably get a bunch of people together. Keep in mind, this might get very big. I could post up on the corvette forum and get people from there as well. Point being, if you plan on a BBQ/Raffle etc you might need a area with alot of parking etc, just a thought.

Sorry if it is confusing.. Yes, everyone would have their own meet in different states but on the same day. We definatley need a big enough area for the bbq/raffle if everyone thinks its a good idea. We can also do a car show with awards, etc. I am thinking most of the California people can try and meet halfway from eachother but it might not be possible being that some people are not going to want to drive that far but hey its for a good cause.

Bret, are you cool with handling your area? Setting it up, etc.. Everything involved in getting it together? We will all work together for ideas, etc.. If we want to get t-shirts made, food for the bbq, I may be able to have Sysco donate some stuff for the event also, etc.. So its not all going to be left on you to set-up we will all go through it and help each other.
I dont know exactly where every city is so if your close to one another then two people can handle it together, if thats fine I dont mind. Also if you do want to take control of your region please make sure you put 100% into it and get as many people as you can, it does not have to be only mustangs/fords, any muscle car, car nuts, etc..
