Again, im down to go even if it's a couple hr drive. Also being a new Vendor here, I will see about possibly getting something donated maybe for a raffle/auction and with all proceeds going towards the family. Assuming that it's not stepping on any toes and is legal etc.
Im assuming with money raised it's going to the family correct? If so has anyone contacted the family and got their thoughts on this? Just curious.
I am thinking either to donate to family or to a cancer charity. We can have a vote once we get it all set-up and let that decide

Yeah, he's been fighting it for 12 years. He was told a month and a half when he first found out.....he fought for twelve years. I got to go out and visit him about a month ago. He was in good spirits and was ready to go. The day before he died, he looked at his wife and said "piece of cake" (dying). He died in his sleep about 12 hours later. He was in so much pain and ready to stop fighting....His body was very worn out.

I'm always up for it! Just let me know when. I've met a couple other guys on here from San Diego. Craig (devided) is dying to get some cobras together to take some pictures. We did it with just him and I, but he wanted more.
Sunday will be better for me. The 16th is the Mustangs Of Burlington show but Ill be in town sunday. For the guys around my area had you rather do smokey mountains national parkway into maybe pigeon forge for dinner, maybe some friendly go kart racing? Or we could run the dragon or skyway.

Jeff (Cobra 4) Has this posted on our forum, and I remember John from BlackMC and BadMC, So I'm in for this as long as ya'll don't mind me and a few more foxes rolling with ya'll.
Louis (04Cobra23) and I have been in touch and he is working on several suggestions I made for logistics that need to be accomplished before things get rolling.
However I think we can plan on the weekend of May 16/17 With the Saturday or Sunday decided shortly. But anyone that wants to can start using that weekend as a time frame.
Also, keep in mind this will be events happening accross the country. So the Date will be "Rain or Shine". Can pretty much gurantee that it will be raining somewhere, but the event(s) will go on because most will (hopefully) have decent weather.
And for those spreading the news to other groups and local clubs... KEEP up the good work. Like SVTP this is not just for a certain make, model or year. This could wind up being a very special showing of the car community as a whole
