Good deal. I think sunday would be better. There is a big mustang show in NC on saturday so it would really hurt our attendance. I say Sunday but that is just my two cents.

However I think we can plan on the weekend of May 16/17 With the Saturday or Sunday decided shortly.
If it is that weekend, I will unfortunately have to bow out.
I have a trip planned to be in Kentucky for a big week long Buick event.
So if things go as planned I will not be home and will be no where near my Mustang.

I say the first weekend in June 6/7 or May 30/31th??if we want to really push it the last weekend in April but it might be tough to get everything together. Anyone post this on other mustang forums? Maybe we can make a list of the forums we have it on and some that we should post on.. Like I said before I dont want to limit this to only Mustangs..
Ok guys.. Heres the deal I say May 31st is the day. If anyone disagree's please post!! If everyone is ok with it then lets start to post on other forums and get this rolling!!!! As far as charity, I can pm his fiance and she what she would like to do.
Hey, guys (and gals), a buddy of mine and I talked a while back after I'd originally posted in here, and came upon an idea we're gonna do, since I'll have the extra money burning a hole in my pocket after a few fines I just got here not too long ago, we're gonna get a set of red & blue Kumo Escata colored smoke tires, and get another SVT owner in his area to use a set of beater tires I'll supply, and we're gonna do a Red, white & blue smoke show for our fallen SVT friend. The video will be done in Gastonia, NC (I plan on moving there soon and being transferred to Rick Hendrick Chevrolet.... and plan on driving an 04 Cobra to work...... God I'm trying to get in trouble ain't I?), so if any of you other NC guys wanna get involved with something like this, let me know, I'll grab a few more sets of tires. Cars involved will be:
1995 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible
His buddies Oxford White 04 Cobra hard top (possible) or a 94 Cobra coupe
As well as the one I'm gonna be buying here soon (as soon as my 90 days is up at the dealership).
As soon as the video is done, we'll upload it and post it on here no matter how late into this year or early into next year we do it.
thats cool that you guys are doing this. Unfortunatly its a long drive for me and my car is in the shop getting fixed. I would Love to still donate though. I think this is a great idea. I'll be checking back and seeing whats the updates.
I did a Cancer Charity Drive with a local Subabru club (longislandsubaruclub.com) today. we had a bout 100 cars show up all over the island, including some from jersey and connecticut. We raised about $4000 towards a cancer foundation. they did a BBQ, photoshoot(stillshots and rolling shots), raffles.

Sounds like what we've got planned on top of our video, I'm looking into renting an empty lot down there (Not too many that I can see) for a couple days, get all the right permits, and set up a small car show, photo shoot (still and moving), BBQ, raffle, and probably a small track day at Shady Side (little 1/8th mile strip). If there are any NC guys here that want in shoot me a PM.

I just moved up to Maine and I just saw this thread [and some others] I'm really moved by this whole thing, I have a family member fighting cancer at the moment.
Is there anything planned for the southern Maine area? I would really like to participate.
Doing a triathlon June 28th in Philadelphia for the lls.org-Team in Traiing, but have tons of promotional stuff from my fundraising ! Would love to help out, or possibly where his name or avatar or something on my helmet or bike.
count me in, it would be sweet if we could have a state to state relay and make this thing really big. I believe we have atleast half the resources right here on svtp
