Zune all the way. IPod is the preferred choice of Nazis I heard. God forbid you actually want to add music from two different computers on a iPod. Plus, I believe it's mandatory to have an iTunes account to get basic crap like album art on your iPod.

Zune pass lets you download all the albums you want for like 15$ a month. AWESOME
Zune Lets you listen to FM tag a song and then as soon as you get to wifi it downloads it for you if you want. you can load from more than one comp and much much more!!!

The thing that I don't like about subscription services like the zunepass is that you never actually own the music that you are listening to. You can download all the music you want, but it isn't yours to keep after you quit paying the subscription fees. Unless you want to pay that sub fee into eternity, that is. Also, not all songs are available on subscription and instead must be bought. From what I hear that is not very common but it still kind of defeats the purpose of paying for the sub in the first place.
iPods are also compatible with 360s. I plug mine in and listen to my own music while playing a lot of games instead of the on disc music all the time.

If it wernt for the ipod apple would have died years ago.
also you can keep 10 songs a month. and its cheaper than paying 90 cents a song, for less than 20 of your songs i can have 20,000 albums !
I hate Apple but the Ipod is amazing and well i'll be upgrading to a touch in a couple weeks.

I liked the zune better than my IPOD classic, but the stupid shit wouldn't work in my jeep(aftermarket headunit) so I ended up selling it. I like my IPOD touch tho, I can download songs directly to the IPOD if I have a wi-fi. zune was cool cause it would sync without having to be plugged it also. The biggest problem I have with apple is they always have that stupid chrome back and within a week or 2 it looks like pure shit. As with any MP3 player they all suck when I try and sync my music...I'll have 5 of the same artist because they are all spelled a little different or something stupid.
My brother has an ipod and I have a zune. The think the zune is better, but you have more choices as far as ipod compatible cd players for the car. In fact I don't think any are compatible with the zune other than just plugging it into an aux input.

quickly catching up? you must have your head up your ass. The Ipod outsells the zune 100 to 1 over even more. Ever since Zune had a freeze up last year during new years its sales have been on the decline:

I have the first gen zune and I love it. It is a 30gig, I have four movies and about 2000 songs and still have 24 gigs left. Plus with the new upgrade I was able to recover all my music that I lost when I had to wipe my computer after it crashed.
I love it!
Do not have any experience with Ipod.

I just picked up a 120 GB iPod Classic the other day and I love the thing. You really can't go wrong with Apple products; they outshine everyone I've seen in terms of build quality (except for the damn Powerbook power adapters which I'll never understand). As far as MP3 players go quality-wise, the iPod dominates from what I've seen. And I'm a full-time musician, so I work with this crap a lot.
