You can't just download installous, you have to add the Hackulous repository and then download App Sync and Installous to be able to have cracked apps. I have Need For Speed, Navigon US/Canada (absolutely amazing), a game called "Crayon" which is a game of physics that you have to draw things to move a ball to hit a star. Kind of a puzzle game but with physics...really neat. Anyways, have fun with getting cracked apps from Appulo.us!

Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, hitting the G-spot, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my ass everyone can find and push the Snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time every time...
Get iFile, Open SSH, and BossPrefs off Cydia. Then get cyberduck for your computer and just watch YouTube videos and learn how to SSH. I get bored with Apps really quick and once you learn how to SSH it makes the experience on the iPhone that much better.

Yes it's worth it. I've downloaded a lot of what this thread has recommended and I haven't paid a penny.

I don't think it is.. the free apps and games are pretty shitty.
Other than being able to change the look of the interface i don't see anything worth jail breaking for. They still make you pay for the half decent apps in cydia.

iirc you can find those same "paid for" apps in torrent packages.
i know my buddy got one that has like 1000 apps or something retarded. Ive been messing with my girls iPod touch and its almost fun enough to make me want to buy an iPhone just so i can **** with some of these apps and programs.

yeah i guess if you have the time to be sitting on your pc adding/deleting apps on your phone it could be cool. I found my self jailbreaking and still using the app store to download apps (i usually download them at parties when people request them) Half the apps don't work.
I was on a plane the other day from SC to WA and wished there was an app or one that I knew of that let me view where I was in relation to the ground, how fast we were going and the elevation we were flying.
I took a flight to HI a few years ago and they displayed this info for the passengers an I thought it was really cool.
I may try my garmin out on the way back home.

Installous has every one of those app's that the app store has, but they give them to you for free. I can search for them and DL them just as easily too. No reason to still be paying for things.
