I was disappointed to hear this yesterday. Not because I'm a Lesnar fan because I'm not. Just patiently waiting for someone to humble him big time. It WILL happen. Hopefully sooner than later.

A couple shots to his face and you'll see how much of a loser douche he is.
Nog was sick before his fight with Mir, even in the hospital and he still fought Mir. Lesnar equals excuses and wants to hold onto his belt.
Sounds like he should be in Strikeforce, looks like he would fit in with their current "champs".

2) Lesnar is (last time I heard) a Purple Belt in BJJ
So he might not be the best striker (he did expose Herring's Stand up) but once he moves inside and gets the takedown he's going to be exceptionally hard to beat. Not impossible, but very difficult... Did you see how easily GG took Carwin down? Lesnar used wrestling to nullify Mir who is himself a seasoned grappler and BJJ black belt.
I don't like Lesnar. I don't like his attitude or his persona in the ring, however, I don't see anyone in the UFC's heavyweight division knocking him off the top any time soon. I certainly wouldn't want to fight him!
Lesnar get's hit, he's done. Not sure what Mir was thinking about, he has himself to blame for his loss. Cain V. in my mind has a better game to beat Lesnar than a Carwin, which I think Carwin would beat Lesnar too. We will see, not as soon as I hoped, but it's coming.

Yes I heard he was a purple belt as well but from who? His trainers went as far as saying they don't train BJJ to use BJJ, they train it so he knows what is happening.
Lesnar simply has size and strength.
Lesnar has yet to take some punishment as well, you can clearly see in the couple fights where he was hit by Mir and Couture that he doesn't seem to take well to strikes.
As far as being at the top, I think anyone has a chance to beat him. Mir could of beat him but he made a huge stupid mistake which cost him. Anyone who stands in front of Brock is going to be taken down and smothered.
He is no where near a top heavyweight in my mind yet but he has a chance to get there one day.

If a guy as big as Lesnar wantes to take a fight to the ground then he will take the fight to the ground. You better KO his ass in one or two punches before he gets ahold of you, its not like you're just gonna shrug off his take down attempt

Haha, Mir didn´t learn from his mistakes in the first round.
He gave Lesnar a couple good shots in the second but jumped to deliver a knee which sent him off balance and he was taken down again.
Mir should have kept moving around the Octagon and throwing kicks and strikes.
Standing Mir > Lesnar
If you are constantly moving it makes a takedown a little harder.
Damn, I was really looking forward to that fight. Oh well guess I'll have to wait for January
