I have people on my Xbox live friends list that are playing the game right now. Apparently the game is for sale in California at 7-11's. This is no bullshit either.
EDIT: Just read that they're clearing the scores for the people playing multiplayer right now once the game is released.

It's not BS. You just have to be in good with a manager at Gamestop.
However, Robert Bowling has already mentioned that people are getting banned everyday for doing this and they will continue to ban people until release.
Infinity Ward knows every gamertag that SHOULD be on those servers. An outsider will stick out like a sore thumb and will promptly get banned. How do I know this? I've watched crazy numbers of live streams on justin.tv etc get shut down and users banned for streaming live gameplay without permission.
I know plenty of people who played forza prior to release. Microsoft doesnt car anymore it seems because they use to block users who played games on live which werent released yet.
Just asked a microsoft game rep, and he states " there was a beta test demo sent to XboX Live select users that applied to be tested " its a very limited version of the real version. The test sever can not hold more than 500 users. its not un common with big releases."
You can download the game off the net also. If you have a modded x box. But people are getting banned left and right for playing it online. if your going to play it make sure to unplug your internet and just go through the story mode. Also I like mentioned above I don't believe the game has everything the final copy has to offer.

Lol, it's not bullshit. Look it up online, some places released the game early in California. Why else would Robert Bowling say they are going to clear multiplayer scores once the game came out?
Im actually not calling bs. This is a completely different situation, but I went to a 7-11 in Springfield, MO and they had friday the 13th out a week before its release date, so its not entirely impossible. Does seem unlikely though with such a highly anticipated video game release.

I have had beta versions of past releases.
This is straight off Robert Bowling's twitter feed:

There is no beta. Bowling specifically said that months ago. He said there will be a small internal beta but no more. I wouldn't listen to shit that Microsoft has to say about Infinity Ward, espcecially when their story completely contradicts that straight from the mouth of the community manager who has said it in 1,000 different interviews. LOL @ them acting like they know what Infinity Ward's plans are.
I don't know why it's so outside the realm of possibility. It's getting increasingly tougher to keep things completely under wraps nowadays. They always seem to get leaked.

Haha its not bullshit...trust me! There's people with multiplayer vids all over the net. Just look on youtube. I believe it was mainly the PS3 that was sent out and got early. There's something like 200 people playing it right now. Looks wicked though! I can't wait!

If you go to justin.tv people have live feeds of multiplayer and single player modes.
I told the g/f I'm gonna just be gaming for that first few days there, so hang out with your friends.
