Are you willing to trust your life to the cheapest gun at the pawn shop? Save a little more for a little more reputable gun.

+1 ^^^

I used to have the 9mm and it truely was a cheap gun. I hated it. Also, that price is really high. You can buy them for around $100. I would recommend you keep saving and invest in something thats quality you can trust your life with.

i'll buy a more expensive one later on.
so the 40 is the strongest, then 45, then 9mm right?

the 45 is the biggest also.. but if i carry it it'll probably just be in my car. not in my side.

Starter gun or not don't by a Hi-Point Gun.

S&W 5906, it's a little heavy but if you go somewhere like AIM Surplus you should find a deal.

My friend just got a brand new Beretta for $500 came with a case and everything. I don't care for Glocks much but they are cheap and reliable.

I have a Ruger P89 with Hogue grips that I picked up with 2 cases and magazines for under $200. Pretty accurate and I've put thousands of rounds through it. I'd recommend one for a first gun.

+65000 on the fact that those guns posted are ugly as hell!

Save up and get a better gun. I sure as hell would not trust my life to that junk. You can get nice used Glocks at most gun stores. If you can find police trade in models (have a friend check it for you), that's even better.

Someone already explained it. 45>40>9 And even though you're not going to, you should follow everyone's advice and BUY A DIFFERENT GUN.

You can get a Bulgarian Makarov for only $199. You should look for one if you want a cheap hand gun. Kyle likes his a lot.
