SVTP is filled with self-proclaimed bodybuilders. A little cardio goes a long way in maintaining good health, so lets hear it.

Regular street running, treadmill, elliptical. What was your fastest 1-mile run?

**** a 1-mile, how about a 2-mile.

That being said, I'm slow sitting @ a best of 13:30.

Im a big guy (6'7 285) but back in high school 7 years ago the fastest i ever ran was 7:45. Guys at our school no matter size had to run it in 8:00 or better for a passing grade.

That's awesome. Impressive at that height/weight.. I'm a shrimp. Only 5'11 @ 225lbs :lol1:

There isn't no way in hell i can do that now, i still weigh about the same but all the muscle i had from weightlifting and football conditioning turned into jello plus a knee surgery later.

The knee issue would certainly hold you back :(. Still, at that ratio of yours, it's pretty damn awesome, even if you can't do it again. You did make it there.

In highschool I could do it in 5:35. Fast forward 4 years with a pack or more a day for the last 2 years I'd say way longer lolz

Edit: in highschool I was 5'10 135-145lbs soaking wet lolz. Now im 22 5'10 150 lbs lolz, still a skinny bastard. My favorite pair of jeans that I have now I got when I was 15 and in the 9th grade hahaha. I have so many pairs of Levi jeans, its retarded. Every Christmas my mom buys me 2-3 pairs and that is my present from her. And all the pairs from the previous 5-7 years still fit so they just pile up. I eventually go to a pair that I got a few years back and work in them. Shirts are the same way. I wear a uniform at work so for working 12 hours a day 5-6 days a week for the last 4 years ive been wearing the same thing. I havent been clothes shopping in over 2 years.

5:30 but that was in March of 09 training pretty much every day. I haven't ran consistently since last October and would probably by around 8 now.

Sub 6 when I was in my prime playing soccer all year round. Now I'd be lucky to do better than 8's.

FWIW, I'm 6'0" and my soccer weight was 165.
