Well, it's finally here!! Arrived yesterday at around 5 o' clock. My dad got it washed up and used the clay bar on a few places, with the time he had. Some serious waxing is on the way though. Enjoy the pics!!

Unhappy with your IRS?
FIX IT!!
Bruce, do the rear wheels fit and tuck the well when on the ground?
I did not get that far but I highly doubt it! I need to get a Saturday when I can spend the day screwing around with the car putting wheels and tires on and drive around the industrial park to get a feel for the change. With the difference in offset there is No Doubt the wheels will stick out quite a bit? Not very paint friendly! Hopefully, I'll have some time soon?
Right now all I want to do it drive this thing! I knew I was going to like this car a lot. I just didn't realize how much!
Where are the pulley/tune numbers bruce? We're waiting
This will be a slow and arduous project because of all of the other things I have to do before old man Winter gets here. My race shop needs a through cleaning, painting, floor scrubbing, floor sealing and a lift install. Plus right now I'm working on my "R". Just finished repairing the fuel cell. Now, I'm moving the driver's seat and installing/fabbing a window net.
But as far as the GT500 goes:
First pull will be bone stock with 500 miles on the car minimum. Maybe after the "R" Challenge Race which is September 23 & 24.
Then axle back I think will be the first mod. (have to decide brand) Later this year. Then another dyno.
CAI, another dyno, then tune, another dyno. (this might be Spring?)
Rear lowering springs and that should be about it? I think?
Ok, maybe some correct wheels to put some track tires on? But that's it!! I swear!!!
Thats it? lol After hearing all the stuff done to your 'R I doubt you're gonna stop with that ;) lol.
Either way, Congrats on the car. It sounds like you havent gotten the smile off your face since you've gotten it. It really is great to hear of an "enthusiest" getting a hold of the car.
So what type of exhaust are you considering exactly? Just something with a slight tone, or something that really screams?

My "R" is my track car. The GT500 will be my "Driver". I want/need to keep it a comfortable driver.
I am really having a blast with the car. It's pure fun to drive. It just can't be driven on the street like this kind of car should be driven. If you know what I mean!? That's why I want to take it to the track next month!
The exhaust I like the most, so far, is the Corsa. The others I've heard are a little too raspy for me.
Also on the list are the JLT CAI, lowering rear springs and a tune. That's pretty much it I think? There may be more, just don't know yet?

Nothing like taking delivery of a brand new car, complete with brand new rust starting to eat it already. That kills me. The damn thing is starting to rot before you even get it home! Time to break out the wire brush and the POR 15 and have at it
