I've shown a couple people that video and they asked me for a copy of it.
Do you have a copy of that video that we can download. I'd love to add it to my archives.

John:
The "R" will still be my main track vehicle. That car drives itself. All I have to do is point it. The GT500 OTOH is a great car but it's a lot of work to drive fast enough to pass Z06's. It's going to make a fine back-up car for driving events.
I'm like a crack addict. I know I love the car like it is, but mods will really wake it up? Tonight I got talked into putting 3:73's in when I do the 13" rear brake conversion kit because the rear end has to come apart anyway? I also found an awesome deal on a set of 18" Kinesis wheels in 10" width! I'm sorry, I have NO willpower. An FR500c coil-over package would make this car a complete animal!! Then I might as well move the battery to the trunk!? It just doesn't stop! I'm so weak!!!

Hopefully Gwen wont get too Jelouse now?
Btw L.L nice flames in your sig
George:
The car is loud enough. If it was any louder my wife wouldn't ride in it when we go somewhere.
The track weight of the car was 3829# with 2/3rds full fuel. I have a photo of the car on scales I'll try to post.

Bruce where you at the last SVTOA event on Sebring?
Nope, never been to Sebring. But I'd really like to get to Road Atlanta and Barber Motorsports Park someday soon?

How does that car compair to your Cobra R.
How does it compair to your cobra R when it was closer to stock?
And god damn, those tires are hurtin, You can really hear them. What was your quickest Lap time in the R? The brakes fade at all? Sorry for all the question's, but your the only person with actual comparative data.
I've compared the R to the GT500 before, but here's a review:
Stock for stock this car owns any year R. IMHO the 2000 was the fastest/best but I'm partial. It still owns it. Providing it's not real hot and the supercharger puts the computer into limp mode?
Quickest lap time in the R is 2:30 and the GT500 2:39. Not bad for a basically stock car? I'm thinking totally stock car on street tires, this car runs a 2:45 give or take?
Brakes totally kicked ass and that's where I made up a lot of my time on the Z06's. But I did make up a pretty slick and efficient brake cooling system for the front.
Tipping the scales at track weight. Trunk totally empty, track wheels and tires, interior emptied, (floor mats, glove box and console) with harness bar and camera mount and brake cooling set-up also. Fuel level at 2/3rds.

Red Green version of brake cooling ducts. Hey, it worked!!
