Your dealer service manager should be able to run your VIN under the Service Note Inquiries and pull the build date as well.

We got ours after prodction had started on these cars... However it is a preproduction model and was built before the 600k dollar barret jackson cars.

Can you tell me the VIN? I can have my Ford Shop run the number and tell you straight away the build date.

Been curious of this for a while now since i have yet to find another built in early May 06. Ford sends the VIN Worksheets for reading Factory Build Sequence, but it does not tell the date on it.

It is also helpful to check for service notes as mine had a few of them. Some threads are on here about early build prior to 9/06 as well.

Hi everyone. Long time since I have been on this site. Had fun with a few of you in Oct. 06. No longer have my Z. New beginnings are sometimes best all around. I have an 07 Infiniti G35 and bought BF's 03 GT to mod the heck out of. He (Kevin) on the other hand just bought a Shelby GT500. Long story there, but a fun one. He owns offshore race boats. That is really his passion. Can't drive IMO worth a shyt. Can pilot a boat tho. So we came up with a deal today. I teach him how to drive and make car passengers puke and I have to learn how not to get sea sick.(only happened once while drinking 22 yrs ago). Can't wait to take him and his car to meet you all. You'll like him. He's loads of fun.

Picked Up My GT500 March 24th from Watson Ford in Jackson Mississippi Already has Borla Stinger exhaust and an escort radar detector planning on a trip to memphis for a dyno tune to allow for a CAI Torch Red/white stripes black leather paid too much don't really mind it, the way i see it you want something you pay the price
