This is my first post on here.I have been a member for a couple weeks ,but not able to post until tonight.I tried to pm a couple folks on here but says I cant.I'm also a membher of a few other sites, but donjt wanna post which ones as I dont want people to think I'm trying to spam..I'm a good guy and you folks seem like good people...Now I have a problem:

My car is gonna be at Fred(Evolution) in the morning he is doiung some mods.I already had stage 2 from him, he is adding headers and full exhaust, short shifter, line lock, and more dyno tuning. With the stage 2 kit it breaks the wheels loose in 3rd gear.So what I need to know is can you guys help me find a set of wheels that I can mount with slicks that will fit the gt500.Everyones telling me they dont know, but I've seen on here a couple [people that has slicks and rims to fit the car.The wheels will only be on at the track. Can you guys help me out? Thanks in advance

get the wheel measurements from evo and go find a wheel that you want. it might not be exact but i am sure there are a bunch of different wheels that will be about the same size and offset. then add a good drag radial or et street to that wheel.

I was running 16''weld XP pro's from my terminator the offset is not correct so they stick out about 3/4 '' also they have been discontinued for about 2yrs,I am in the precess of ordering new wheels and should know which ones by weeks end I am looking at Holeshoot wheels Bogarts & MT's,I will post as soon as I decide. You will need spacers longer studs & a swaybar relocation with 15's or 16's if you use the proper offset,I should know tommorow about MT 17's.

MD or anyone else that can help me ..Thanks for the answers.I'm new to this tire/slick stuff and dont know about spacing fitting all that tech stuff so bare with me on this.I dont care about the sticking out some. They will only be for the drag strip and then the stockers will go back on before we hit the road......I have some questions for ya
1.When you get your new wheels MD,would you sell or rent(lol) those wheels to me so I can run some true slicks?
2.What would be the stickiest tire for 17's?
3.I heard not to use spacers,is this true?
4.I dont care about the sticking out as long as its not hitting or damaging anything,so do you know of anything I can use to run a true slick?Evolution says a dr just aint gonna hook very well.
5. You say on the 15 or 16 I have to use longer studs, spacers, and a swaybar relocatter when using the correct offset,so will it matter if I dont care about them sticking out from under my car? Do I still need all that stuff?

you do not want them sticking out as mine did cuase it rubbed the paint off the fender lips.MT makes a 17'' which I am looking into with them you will not need to relocate the swaybar but spacers & longer studs are still needed to clear the calipers as all these wheels have a flat back. You can use a pair of stock GT 17'' wheels from a 05-07 with a MT 17'' slick a friend of mine does on his blown GT and they work good any slick(biasply) will be better than a drag radial.

nitto 555r has some 305/35/18 and 305/45/18
When I get a car, I think I will go with the 305/45
Anyone know if BFgoodrich makes a DR in 18inch sizes?

I was/am running a 16" '95 cobra r wheel with 26x10.5x16 Mickey thompson ET street at 14-16 psi. They were good for a 1.60 60's; dead hooking out of the hole. the in car is a 1.601 60'. I may be selling these rims and tires if you're interested.

Until now, BFG was the only 18" DR you could get.

I went with the copy's of the GT500 wheel in 17" so I could run MT's.
