Best Sounding Axel Back Exhaust?

Hey guys, in the market for a nice Exhaust for the Shelby. From what I hear and have read so far Axel back is the way to go, but I defintiely don't want anything ricey sounding. I have a full Bassani X-Pipe and Cat-Back on my Terminator and it sounds great....very throaty. Any suggestions of manufacturers if I just wanted to go with just an Axel back? Who sounds the best?

Your best bet is to go to you-tube punch in gt500 exhaust and it shows a bunch of clips of different manufacturers axle back sound clips. We did this and decided on the bassani axle back, sounds perfect.

+1 on watching some videos as everyone has different taste as to what sounds good and what doesn't. I would suggest ordering from Lethal Performance. They are a vendor here and have top notch service and are a great group of people.

Very good idea but remember the sound will be a bit different in person. I went with JBA but I replace everything, no headers and no cats. My car is a lot louder than anything on youtube. Not ricey at all really sounds good but has a crazy amount of drone, not that I mind its not my dd and when the Kb screams it all goes away

FRPP exhaust

Ford Racing exhaust sounds great on these cars. I have a slightly used one for sale. PM me if interested.

I've decided to order the complete Bassani with long tubes in the morning, I have the complete setup with the mid length headers on my 03 and it sounds mean! Only difference is I'm ordering it with cats this time. I don't like the cackle on the de excell with the off road pipe on my 03, but love the rumble it makes under WOT!
