Which suspension to go with need advice ASAP:update 10/19
My uncle wants to lower the car a tad but don't know who to go with. Any advice would be appreciated. The car is going to be on display at a show for a wheel vendor so we need this done very soon(immediately).

If plan on going with the FRPP lowering springs ... eventually.
put the car on 4 koni coilovers with suspension from griggsracing. prices start around 4k. is it going to the sema show? if it is give griggs a call and see if they can cut a deal for advertising their product?

Yes it is for the sema show, were not going to crazy in the suspension department just springs to bring the car down on the wheels. We just want some quality pieces with a good ride and if it handles better that would be a major plus. It will go back to stock eventually.
I will post up some pics of the wheels on the car when it is complete(sneak peek before the show)if I'm allowed to.

FRPP is looking good but would like more comments on them. Do you need to run there whole package or are springs good enough.
I put the FRPP GT500 suspension package on my car and I'm VERY happy with it. It lowered the ass end of the car and I can actually see out of the back window now. The car drives like a completely different car. It's quite a bit stiffer. No longer has that cushy boulevard ride anymore. But with two fairly exotic track cars I now need a dependable back-up car just in case.
The car now drives on track like a GT500 should have driven from the factory. I can drive the turns pretty hard now without the car leaning like a mo-fo.
I think the kit is in the neighborhood of $1,800.00 which I thought was a bargain. If you get it through Tousley you could save a nice chunk of change.

if you just want to lower it, just get springs. cheap easy and it will look fine.
$3600 for the basic griggs set up....
Major components include:
Coil-Over Front Struts with adjustable Koni inserts
Integral Billet Aluminum Camber Plates
Urethane Front Control Arm Bushings
Adjustable Aluminum Rear Control Arms (Race - Heim jointed)
TorqueArm
Adjustable Aluminum Panhard Bar (Race - Heim jointed)
Rear Coil-Over Ball End Adjustable Shocks
Optional components:
Adjustable Rear Control Arms (Quiet - Urethane/Heim)
Adjustable Panhard Bar (Quiet - Urethane/Heim
Watts Link w/TA cover (Quiet - Urethane/Heim)
Watts Link w/TA cover (Race - Heim jointed) Moderate road noise

Installation is as easy as it gets with very little welding required. Whether you drive your Mustang to work, at the drag strip, or in the canyons this kit is guaranteed to yield significant performance improvements.
Cheapest route would be either frpp or eibach springs and a adj. panhard bar and you are set. That is all you need to lower the car down to a better height. Nice and simple and rides a hell of a lot better. I went with the eibachs for now until I go with coil overs later.

Running just springs would be sufficient for your needs. They're less than $200 a set. After lowering, the car's body may not not be centered over the rear axle and your driver's side tire may stick out a little more (perhaps 1/8") than the other tire. If that's a big deal to you, then an adjustable panhard bar can be used to re-center the body over the axle. You may also need to re-align the front end or at least have it checked.
Do a search on "springs" and you'll find lots of good information here.
I would stay away from the eibachs. Do a search. Alot of people with problems with it. I would rather have the lower look with the eibachs, but dunno if it would be worth the headache if your one of the unlucky ones with problems.
I recommend FRPP lowering springs. I had the full Roush suspension kit in my Mustang GT plus I added a Saleen Watts link. The Watts link was great but the Roush kit was too stiff, at least for the potholed roads we have here. With my GT500, I just went with the FRPP springs, which, in terms of stiffness, put it about 1/2-way between stock and the Roush kit, which IMO is perfect. The FRPP springs made the car look much better. I did not need to do anything to the panhard bar. Rear end is centered.

I just got on to ask this specific question and you have answered it. I think we are going with the whole FRPP kit and my question was going to be why ford does not include the panhard bar, maybe its not a big deal like you said.
Thanks

What happened to just doing this for SEMA and then going back to stock? If thats what he wants to do just buy springs(eibach/frpp ect.) $200-250 range and be done with it. The adj. panhard bar will recenter the ass end. When you lower the rear no matter the brand the factory non adj. panhard bar will offset the rear end a bit. My car was off 3/8" to one side. Hell he could by springs and a bar for $350 and be a lot cheaper than that set up if it is only going to be temp or long term.

I thought the same thing but he keeps changing his mind. The more I show him whats available well you know its a domino effect. I'm sure he's not the only one with this dilemma
Ok then look on ebay that is where I found the best prices for that kit or the one that eibach has also. Also check out http://www.blueovalindustries.com/ they have both kits I think and good prices, the same kit more or less from eibach as you have in the above post is 850. I dont see the frpp kit but I knew I have seen it before give them a call.
I get all my FRPP parts from Tousley Ford. They have always given me the best price. You may have to wait a little longer for the parts since they typically have to order them and will ship to you when they receive it. They won't charge your CC until they ship.
Tousley: 1-800-328-9552 and ask for Steve or Kevin; they handle the FRPP orders.

He will like it.
+ the adjustable shocks/struts are a must have. Cheap drag setup and easy to adjust for cush or firm ride.
FRPP says you dont need the panhard bar. I have one and Im still 1/4" to the left. One of these days Ill work on that.

Your uncle will not want to go back to stock after installing the handling package; he'll like it too much.

Your panhard bar was probably adjusted to stock length. You need to make it a bit shorter to center the axle - assuming the wheel is sticking out further on the driver's side.
